Where did she come from

Ray is turning 3 or 10 (whatever it may be) next Wed. The girl is out of control!!!!
I've asked her over the last week what she wants for her Birthday. She Elaborates on and on.............
All I've been able to get out of her nonsense rambling is an Elephant ( WHAT???? )

This is what I thought she wanted.....

(thought maybe she'd seen it on T.V you never know with her)

My mistake! (Really I should of known)

That this is what she really WANTED..........

Our conversation went a little like this..............

Me: "So What kind of elephant do you want ???"

Her: "One like I seen with the red ( insert lots of excitement and gibberish) ball you can throw at it"

Me: " And just where did you see it at???"

Her: looking at me like I have

"THE ZOO!!!!!!"

Honestly.... What was I thinking??? The child lives in a land of make believe of course she wants a real LIVE elephant.

Happy Anniversary!!!!!

10 years ago

I covered my eyes and giggled.

My heart was pounding.

I was 19 and a feeling a little unsure…..

Were we too young??????? Well YA!!!!!

Could love last in this crazy world???????

All my fears faded as I took my dads arm.

And with a kiss and an "I love you"--my dad helped me join the love of my life.

I felt a JOY that I had never felt before...

The words, "Presenting to you Mr. and Mrs. SMITH " brought it on....

I WAS HIS.........

HE WAS MINE....... (SORRY GIRLS)

I remember thinking…. “I hope it’s not the best day of our lives”

“I hope it gets better. I hope ten years from now, we wouldn’t trade where we are for where we were.”

I'm SO thankful that each day gets BETTER!!!!! the Lord has blessed me with the most gracious, loving, caring, compassionate, and incredible man in the entire UNIVERSE!!!!! I would have never made it through these years without him by my side. LOVE YOU LONG TIME GOOD BUDDY!!!!!
