Dad
I was so excited for my parents to finally meet Mr. M. It's one of those things where you want them to see him, give him a hug and a kiss and tell me what a good job I'm doing. Since this is a family blog and we all know what are family has been going through and what they will be going through in the future, I would be amiss if I didn't extend my gratitude to my parents and all they have done for us. As they struggle through the trials they have been given, amongst the hundreds of prayers that have been said on their behalf I want them to both know that I think of them daily and there isn't a day that goes by that I'm not thankful for the family I grew up in. (That's not saying that a trip to Disneyland would have been nice:) The things I hope Mason will learn are to be kind to everyone, accept people as they are, be thoughtful, have a good sense of humor and enjoy life. So mom congratulations on finishing up and dad keep your chin up and "cowboy up"

Mr. M's Blessing
July 25,2010 We had Mr. M blessed, my dad gave the blessing and William and Duncan stood in the circle. He was blessed to "always be mindful of others around him, to respect his parents, to help others" and of course many more things. I am sooooo thankful for my parents and Alin's parents and how each of them have had to overcome and are still overcoming hardships of all kinds to give us the best childhoods, youth and preparing us for having families of our own. My prayer is that Mason is kind, gentle, considerate and when "he faces life's demands that he take a valiant stand" I love this little boy and I'm truly grateful that Heavenly Father has sent him to our home.

Beautiful Mom
So I posted these 2 pictures because I want my mom to know that I think she is beautiful inside and out. With hair or without. Beauty consists of so many things. I can't help but get a little emotional when looking at these two pictures. My mom is a rock, and you never fully understand a mother's love until you become one. She's funny, smart, beautiful, kind, considerate and really does think of others before herself. Besides she plays in a band which in it's own right is cool (even if it is the accordion hehe) So many things I love about her, but the highest compliment I think I would be able to give her is if I am half the mom she was I will have done a good job. Love you mom!
