Catch Up!!!!

What a crazzzzzzy month! I finally have a second to try and update my blog. This is our month in a nutshell.

Emmy and I went with October to Bear World on her field trip.

Emmy Feeding the Deer.

October petting the Hog.

October petting a baby bear (aren't they cute).

October feeding the deer (they loved this).

Dawson, October and Emercyn had their ballet recitals. They all did a great job. It was Emmy's first recital and she shined. She was not scared at all and loved performing.

October was a butterfly.
Emmy was a Fairy.

Dawson was a cowboy.

We had October's graduation from kindergarten. I know she looks possessed, it was the only picture I could get to upload. Dawson also sang at a 4th grade choir concert for all of Rexburg and performed in the Idaho State Play for his 4th grade class (I couldn't get the pics to upload).

David took Dawson to the circus and they had a blast.

We went to a family reunion in Utah for David's side. We hadn't seen some of his cousins for eight years. We had a lot of fun and the kids loved meeting new cousins.

Hopefully, I can be better at updating again. We will see how busy I stay. I am still waiting to slow down.

Happy Birthday To Me!

Yea, its my birthday. I love my birthday. I am worse then the kids. I love cake, ice cream, presents and just knowing it is my day. I am 39 today, yes really I am 39. I still feel 18, I just wish I looked 18. Its a busy day for me, but my family has great plans for me tonight.

Funny Emmy!

Emmy has been obsessed with band-aids lately. We took 10 off of her the other day when we gave her a bath. I bought new band-aids and I put them up and told the girls that they could only have one if they were bleeding (it is getting expensive to keep buying them). This morning she comes to me and we have the following conversation:

Emmy: "I need a band-aid, I have an oweey"

Me: "Are you bleeding?"

Emmy: "Yes."

Me: "I don't see any blood"

Emmy: "It is getting all over, I bleed blue, see"

So, I caved in and gave her one but told her next time she had to be bleeding red.

Emmy's Birthday!

What a great 4th birthday my Miss Emmy had. She loved opening up her presents and loved everyone of them.

Opening up her presents

What a great Dad, David is. I was at a craft fair all day so David made her cake. He did a great job I think.

Emmy got this dress up from her Nana and Buddy and she has worn it everyday since.

She had such a busy day, she fell asleep watching TV

She screamed like this everytime she opened up a present.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMERCYN SKY!

I can't believe my baby is 4! Emmy is a true fighter. We were told that I would never have another child. I was told I would never be able to conceive or to carry a baby. Emmy defied all the odds to get here. We were able to conceive (in fact, my doctor refused to be my doctor if I carried this baby because he said it was too high risk). I started labor at 27 weeks gestation with Emmy. We were able to stop labor, but spent the next 10 weeks on full best rest and spent two or three days a week at the hospital stopping labor. Finally, she was born, a healthy strong baby. Emmy has the best sense of humor and is truly a fighter. She does not let anyone stop her. She is sweet and kind and she will defend her big sister for anthing. I love you Emmy and feel so blessed to have you part of our lives.

This is the only picture we have of Emmy at birth. Our computer crashed and I had not backed up my pictures for over a year. We lost Emmy's first year of life and her birth pics. It still makes me sick to think about.

Easter Fun!

I am just a week late posting. Pictures of my cuties on Easter. They had a great time. We spent the day doing the normal Easter activities, baskets, Church (the most important) and an egg hunt.

Finally, She Lost It!

So for weeks now October has had a loose tooth. She has been wiggling it and trying so hard to get it out. Most of the kids in her class have lost a tooth or two and she so badly wanted a tooth gone. The other day I gave her a corn dog, dropped her off at my friends house so she could walk to the bus stop with her future husband (ha ha). They started to walk to the bus stop and she took a bite of her corn dog and out her tooth fell on the sidewalk. October and Tucker proceeded to look for her tooth on the sidewalk. They were successful and now October is so happy to have the tooth fairy come. Thanks Alyson for helping her. The good news is that her other tooth is about ready to fall out too. It always makes me a little sad when they loose their first tooth because for me it is an end of an era and they no longer are babies and are getting older and I don't want them to grow up, yet anyway.
