17 May 2010 Happy Birthday Elaine!!!!Celebrated Elaine's birthday on the actual day itself at Tampines One. The birthday celebration, as according to Elaine's wishes, was an all girls event, with only close friends present.
Since elaine's family wasn't really going to celebrate her 21st Birthday, Me Eunice Chia Fong and Peiqi held a mini birthday celebration for her.
I was suppose to meet chia fong earlier at 6.30pm before the rest arrive at about 7pm to get the birthday cake and find a place that sell vegetarian food to eat (Cf is a vegetarian). But my mum got me invloved with something last minute. And was late. Reached there at about 7.15pm instead. =x Ended up cf had to do most of the things herself instead.
Met up with them at Dian Xiao Er. Thank God I didn't had a hard time trying to find the place. Upon my arrival, we quickly took the menu to order our food and drinks.

duck - the only dish that cf can't and won't eat =p After we've finish our food, there was still another surprise for Elaine.. Her Birthday cake!!! So while waiting for the waitress to bring out the lighted birthday cake, we took some more silly pics to pass time...

My Traffic Police driving test. Thank God that You were with me. Although I didn't passed, I believe You had Your own reasons... Like what Ade told me today, I Know You have plans to prosper me and not to harm me. Not passing despite all those driving practices, i believe in the end, You still had Your reasons. Though I may not understand it now, I believe someday I will.
Of course looking back, there were some errors here and there that should have not been made. But what is done is done. Should have been more careful in my changing of gear. Perhaps it was because that I changed gear too early while making my right turn that my car hit the kerb. Sianz! - that's the feeling after having had about 41 lessons and still not being able to pass due to that JUST ONE 'Immediate Failure'. It's irritating! Everything went well in the circuit. but it was only on the road that this hitting the kerb thing had to happen only ONCE!!! And that caused my failure. Hate it. JUST THAT ONCE caused my immediate failure. Besides that everything was alright. I got 14 pts altogether. And I could have pass without that immediate failure =(
Maybe it is through this experience that I will have more confidence in my next Trasffic Police test. And all this nervousness will not be there as it was today. And that when I take my driving test the 2nd time, it will be much much better! I Will be more determined to pass my driving the 2nd round!!!
Pray that I will be able to accept and face my failure bravely. Even if it means going back for 4 more revision lessons, maybe seeing the same instructors - some of which I don't really like. Grant me the courage to face up to them again and learn from my mistakes even if it means to endure and listen to their nagging.. It's not going to be easy. But with Your love, let me pull through it all...!!! And thanks for letting me feel the love of all my friends. Especially those Coming from those whom I don't really know well. Was really touched by their unexpected encouragement. Also friends Replying to my whinings through sms, telling me not to give up still. Thank God for all of them! Thank God for letting all of them be my rainbow in the dark clouds.. Giving me hope, reminding me not to give up...
And this will be a start to giving thanks to You in all circumtances. Good or bad, as hard and difficult as it may seem to be, teach me to see Your loving grace and mercy through it all~

Went for Nette's bbq straight after my driving. We were giving Puik a Bday surprise celebration, so didn't had enough time to go home to get changed into my shorts first. Going home would mean that to get to Nette's bbq pit there early to hide the cake before Puik come might be too rush.. So had a long ride by train from Bukit Gombak all the way to Paya Lebar, then took a bus to Parkway Parade there to get Puik's cake.
Getting Puik's cake wasn't that easy. We wanted to get a Vanilla flavoured cake at first, but couldn't find it. So we settled for a Chocolate cake instead.. Then payment for the cake, they Do Not Accept any modes of payment besides cash! So had to walk around the shopping mall there to hunt for a UOB atm machine.. Was super tiring just walking about in a Big shopping mall alone, first searching for cake shops then an Atm machine and then back again to the cake shop just to make payment. After that still have to navigate my way to East Coast Park to find Nette. Thank God I didn't get lost~

Nette brought me to the bbq pit.. And the guys were busy BBQ-ing the food. Seeing them being so hardworking at bbq-ing the food, I guess the only thing that we could do to appreciate their hard work while waiting for Puik and Xn to come, was to enjoy the cooked food! =)
After having our fill, the guys took a break too from the bbq pit... Puik & Xn were still on their way to East Coast~ So we took some pictures to kill time while waiting for them to come..

After Puik and Xn had their fill of the bbq food, Edmund suddenly dragged Puik away. And just as I started thinking of why the sudden dragging away thing is happening, Xn prompted me to prepare the Birthday cake for Puik...
And with a little help from Nette's mum to help light up the Birthday Cake!

While Puik, Xn and Me hitch a ride from Nette's Dad, who fetched us home in his van.
On the way home, Pui Kwan started to look for her phone. That was when we realized that she has lost her phone - phone calls were made to her handphone, and no vibration was felt...
So we had to make a U-turn back to East Coast Park to search for her handphone.
Prayed that Puik's Bday celebration won't end off with a sad note.
So when we reached East Coast back, we began our search for the missing handphone...
Thank God! Within minutes of searching, Puik's handphone was found, blinking on the grass! Apparently it fell out from her pocket when Edmund pulled her away from the pit. The handphone was lost for about 2 hours and it was still safe!

4-6 Dec'-09Met up with a bunch of my church mates at Harbourfront Ferry Terminal for our retreat in Batam =) Hooray! Glad to be out of Singapore.. And really got to know some friends better and closer friendships were formed...

Proceed for our meeting after that..
Most of us were tired and worn out by then...
But nevertheless.. We still wanted to keep fit.
So during our Free & Easy time we went for a swim..
Wanted to swim in the indoor pool.. But since it was already fully occupied by the people who were playing frisbee, we had to go to the outdoor pool instead for our swimming exercise~
Went for our dinner...
seafood that Shawn's parents Uncle Sen and Auntie Mabel arranged for us..
Had to sit in this bumpy van for 1 hour plus to reach our destination...
But for the delicious food, it was worth it!!! =) 
Finally the last day was free and easy after finalizing our points for the meeting...
Did lots of swimming after that. Felt really fit during the trip..

But hope this pictures are enough for you to catch a glimpse of my Batam retreat trip =)

Day out with the cousins - Jeremy and Nette~ We arranged to meet at 2pm.. Supposed to go tiong with Jeremy from church but he overslept.. And I forgot to call Nette earlier for her wake up call so she too overslept.. LoL! Cousins!
Anyway Jeremy reached first.. He's supposed to be earlier but he took the bus at the wrong direction.. But he still managed to reach earlier than Nette.. After roaming around he was saying he's hungry and we should find a place to eat first.. So we went to eighteen chefs there to lunch first..
Nette finally came while we were having our desserts~
Bot knowing what to do afterwards, we went to play arcade there. After which we got bored and Jeremy wanted to watch New Moon.. But since Me and Nette were reluctant to do so, we went to Marina square there to play another round of arcade.. And they had a great time watching me danced the Para Para for some reasons....
Made a comment that made Jeremy go Diaoz! and sent Nette laughing away pretty hard - "Why don't you take off your skin and use as a coat?"
Lovely Day, lovely time hanging out with the Cousins.. Just like the Good Old Days~ Haha ~^_^~

Woke up early in the morning around 7.30am to get ready to meet Eunice at Tiong Bahru Mrt there at around 8.30am. Waited a while for the rest to reach then made our way to Tiong Bahru Park for our game of Combat Skirmish~
When we reached the park we were greeted by the sight of this algae pond.
Look like a nice grassy patch. And Eunice really thought it was...
And the joke of the day from Eunice: Oh! I know why the pond has got so much algae! Cause it's at Lower Delta there! LoL~As all were busy playing Combat Skirmish, we didn't had the chance to take a picture of ourselves playing the game..
Anyway whe we were finishing our game, Yokie came to give Eunice a surprise visit..
It was suppose to be a surprise until Eunice took my phone to view my inbox and found out Yokie was coming.. Then we had our debrief then went together to Eighteen chefs to eat..

Called Nette up and she was still busy changing into her cosplay costume and queueing up for her ticket to get in to the event.. So went to eat lunch with Yokie while waiting for Nette.. And since he said he didn't had enough cash with him, I treated him to a slice of Sapprino Pizza and a bowl of meatball soup..
And then finally what seemed to be hours of waiting for Nette to come, Nette finally called!!! Yay! So Nette managed to find us, chatted a bit.. And I think this is my first time seeing Nette cosplay despite years of knowing her =x
