Reminiscing

Lately I have been reminiscing on the good ol days. When there were quality T.V shows to watch (not this garbage we have now a days). You know the days where it was cool to stay home on Friday nights cause T.G.I.F was on. The 90s were good to me and didn't let me down. TGIF was filled with some of the best shows ever.

Oh Boy Meets World I can still watch you today. Cory and Tapanga one of the greatest love stories ever told.
Step By Step day by day. . .I preferred the later years.Al became more womanly and less tom boy. Dana's hair got blonder, Karen got even more conceited. The modern day Brady Bunch always keepin me entertained.
Family Matters, loved you too. Urkle was a classic. I loved when he turned into Stefan and got all sexified. :)
Full House always had great life lessons to be learned. And if you didn't realise there was a lesson being taught they had music playing to give you a hint. Uncle Jessie was so hot am I right? Well in the later years when he cut his hideous mullet.

The greatest show of all time! I still watch Saved By the Bell (its on every morning). I was of course a Zack and Kelly fan. I would get so pissed when Slater would try and weasel his way in on Kelly. Sorry AC that mullet was NOT cute. But boy have the tables turned. AC is now hot and Zack is defiantly not. Who knew?

Some good times were had watching these classics. But I most also give a shout out to some honorable mentions that weren't necessarily in the TGIF line up.

M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E Club- LOVED IT!!

Brotherly Love, great theme song and not too bad on the eyes ;)

And a trivia question. If you get this right you will be my best friend forever and I will love you:)

What is this show called with this theme song: Camp Anawana, We hold you in our hearts. And when we think about you it makes me wanna fart.

What were some of you favorite TV shows to watch growing up?

Stylin

Easton decided he would style his own hair the other day. I knew he was up to no good hiding behind the curtain! This boy loves to make messes these days. They weren't kidding when they said "terrible 2s" Good thing he is cute and can get away with it. He keeps me on my toes and even though he can drive me crazy he makes me laugh everyday. I love this little boy of mine! And I wouldn't have him any other way.

Meant to be. . .

Growing up one of my all time favorite movies was an 80s classic, Teen Witch. If you have seen it you can understand why. Most people have no idea what I am talking about when I quote or sing the awesome songs from this amazing movie. When Sheldon and I were dating I started talking about this movie and he had seen it! That's when I knew we were meant to be. Ok so my decision to marry him wasn't based on if he had seen Teen Witch or not, but he definatly won bonus points for it! Well last week I was at the wonderful Wally World and I was looking through the DVDs. Much to my surprise I saw this beauty of the self. And it was the LAST one!! It was meant to be. This movie was waiting for me! It was only $5 too! Can't get better than that! So if you haven't seen this classic call me up and we can watch it together at my house cause I own it now :)

Here's one of my favorite scenes:

You wish you could rap and dance like that!!

Not so little anymore. . .

To my sweet Easton,

You are getting so big! I feel like it was just yesterday I was in the hospital waiting for your arrival. You were so beautiful. You came out looking big and chubby with some of the biggest hands I have ever seen! I have never felt so much love. You were all mine and I knew I wouldn't be the same. Becoming your mommy changed me. Instead of thinking about myself, you consume all of my thoughts. I would do anything for you. You are my whole world. How did I ever live without you? Your first few months of your life were spent on our couch, in my arms asleep. I would just stare at you for hours in amazement, that you were part of me, I help make you. The most beautiful baby I had ever seen! Words cannot even begin to describe the joy you bring me everyday! Just when I think you can't get any cuter, you prove me wrong. I think that I can't love you more, you prove me wrong. You melt my heart with your sweet kisses that I don't even have to ask you for! You give them to me all on your own. I know our spirits are in tune, you can tell when mommy is having a bad day, you are extra sweet. You are the funniest boy I have ever known. You love to make people laugh and have some of the sweetest dance moves I have ever seen! All my life I dreamed my baby would love to sing and dance. You are even more than I could have ever imagined! You were my buddy from the start! You think your mommy is pretty funny! And it makes me feel so good! You see, I think I'm pretty funny and sometimes I'm the only one. So we were destined for each other. A match made in heaven! And I thank my father in heaven every day for trusting me with your sweet spirit. I hope that I can be the mother you deserve. A mother to teach you to live up to your full potential. And to return with honor to live with your father in heaven. We are a family forever. You will always be apart of me. That is the greatest gift I could ever receive. You are getting too big! I didn't say you could grow up. One day you'll go to school, date girls and not think your mom is too funny anymore. Then you'll leave me and go on a mission. Then find a girl to take to the temple and start an eternal family of your own. ( please promise me this is very very far far away!) But we will always be connected. You may never fully know how much I truly love you. You will become a daddy some day and maybe get a glimpse of how much your mom loves you. But a mother's love is indescribable. I promise you my sweet Easton, I will always love you no matter what. No matter what life may throw at you to knock you down I will always be there to lift you back up. You will make mistakes but I will be here to help you fix them. Like I said before I would do anything for you! Those days will come sooner than I'm ready for, so for now I will cherish our sweet moments together. You aren't so little anymore. But you make me the happiest girl in the world. I am proud to be your mommy! Love you to the sky and back, infinity!

Love,

Your mommy

To clean or not clean. . .

That is the question!

Its Monday, the weekend is over and Sheldon in back to work (in tucson boo!!) I thought spring break is supposed to be celebrated with vacation? Oh well, we will vacation in good ol tucson for a few days. :) But today I am left with the dilemma to clean my house or not. You see I have never been great at this whole "cleaning thing" I mean I love to come home to nice clean house, but I'm not so much a fan making it a nice clean house. I am very easily distracted to something that could take only a few hours takes me a whole day!! don't even get me started on SVU marathon days! But that's a whole other story for a different day. Cleaning can be quite discouraging when you have a little tornado of a son behind you messing up everything you just picked up. So if and when I do clean my house it only last for a few minutes.

Exhibit A:

Eastons toys that I just picked up two minutes before.

But picking up is the least of my worries. Laundry is going to be the death of me!! I'm not kidding, I HATE doing laundry! I love the smell of nice clean clothes. But I hate folding and putting them away. Laundry is a never ending battle for me. I think the whole time Sheldon and I have been married I have been caught up on laundry once. Yes only once in almost 3 years. Pathetic I know. My angel of a mother always did our laundry growing up and she was amazing at it! I always had fresh clean clothes nicely folded on my bed waiting to be put away. Did I always put them away? NO. But they were clean. If I can't keep up now, what am I going to do when I have more kids and more clothes to wash? Maybe I'll make my kids do their own laundry. :) Does that make me a mean mom? A two year old can learn quickly right? Ok I wont make Easton do his own laundry. . . .YET! But until he can I guess I'll have to work on being a little better.

Exhibit B:

Probably 4 loads of clean clothes just waiting to be folded and put away. It will happen some day. But maybe that isn't today. Anyone want to go to lunch? :)

One cute kid!

Christmas has come and gone. We had a great time spending it with the people we love the most! We got spoiled, especially Easton boy! Here are some pictures from Christmas Eve since that's all I have to document this joyous holiday. I know I am horrible at remembering to take pictures! We took Easton to the park for a little fun. I just can't get over his beautiful blue eyes!

When did my baby get big enough to be a Shepard in the nativity?

Easton loves to kiss little girls even if they are related :)

Easton loves grandpa and was really into him retelling the story of our Saviors birth.
