I can't believe my little boy is already 6 months old! Time is flying by way too fast. He has seriously grown and is developing so fast. I just took him to his 6 month check up and he's already 14 lbs and 24". He's about at the 3% for his weight, height, and head circumference. I love that he's sitting up pretty well by himself and is really loving solid foods now. He has become more and more a mama's boy so he wants me to hold him all day long, it's so frustrating to have to do everything with him in a baby borne. Oh well, he is my last baby and I'll just try and cherish this time as much as possible. I love this lil' man!

Kara and the kids came on thursday and surprised Miya and Emi. It was so fun seeing them in total shock when they came home from school to see Aunty Kara, Mikey and Kennedy there.

On Friday, we went and watched Emi at her circus arts class and just hung out.

On Saturday, we took the bart to San Francisco...

ate at the Cheesecake Factory, kind of our tradition every time aunty Kara comes to visit...

walked around Union Square and did a little shopping...

came back to Berkeley and got ready for our Ward party, where Mase won "Best in Show".

Sunday, we carved some pumpkins...

and we took Kennedy to our friend's cute Halloween party.

Monday was Halloween day, so went went to Miya and Emi's school for their Halloween parade...

walked around the neighborhood...

saw lots of pumpkins...

Then we came home and got ready for some fun trick-or-treating!

We walked down to the famous Russell Street...

Saw some great decorated homes...

got lots of candy...

and had one of the best Halloweens!

I'm so glad they came and stayed with us. I wish we lived closer so we could have fun together all the time!

Time is going by too fast! My lil' man is already 5 months old, and as you can see in these pictures, he is a baby of many emotions. I love his facial expressions and he's getting more and more animated. He's over 12lbs now! It's weird to even think he was a 1/4 of what he is now...CRAZY!

This past weekend we drove down to Southern California to celebrate my mom's 60th birthday. On our way down, we decided to stop and stay a night in San Luis Obispo. The next day we drove the rest of the way to Irvine. We had another amazing time hanging out with my family.

Happy 60th Birthday Mom!!! We love you and had so much fun being all together with the Family (we did miss Naomi-chan a lot though). You're an amazing Mom!!!

Time is flying by and my little 3lb baby boy is more like 11lbs now. It's crazy how fast he's changing and growing. He's really fun at this age. He loves to talk baby talk and smiles all the time now. Ruka's also getting better at using his hands. He likes to hit his toys on his bouncer and will try and grab for things in front of him. Within the last couple of weeks Ruka uses his thumb to soothe himself, I think it's so cute, but I hope it doesn't become a bad habit for the future. I'm really enjoying being a mother to this baby boy. I love cuddling with him every night and I love our little conversations we have during the day.

Today was the girls first day of school. Emi started Kindergarten and was so excited to start. It's so crazy to think both my girls are in school now, but it's going to give me good one on one time with the Ruka. I hope they have a great year.

We had such a fun time visiting my brother and his beautiful family last weekend. I just love San Diego and spending time with family. Thanks Mom for the trip!
