This is what happens when you work from home and must attend a conference call!

Just wanted to give a shout out and say Happy birthday to the best Mom and Mimi there is! We appreciate all you do for us and hope you have an awesome birthday ! We love you !!!!

Yes- there was a graduation today...my sweet boy graduated from pre-school and he is all ready for kindergarten next year ( I however know how fast time really flies once they start school as Kels will officially be a senior this Tuesday so I am not quite as ready :( He did the procession great, sang awesome and yes made me cry more than once! We love you H-man and can't wait to see all the great things you will accomplish.

I ran in my first 5 k this morning and while I am not a great runner ( I do it but I neither like it or excel at it ) I actually had a really good time doing it. Kels, her friend Alexa and my friend Kelley (who is a great runner and just recently completed her first half marathon...go Kelley !) all ran it too. The race was a fundraiser for Nikki, the sweetest girl you could meet,that goes to school with Kels and has been battling cancer for way too many years. She was out there to root everyone on and it was so awesome to see her smiling face. I am already researching my next 5k so I guess I liked it more than I realized :) If anyone reads this and would like to make a contribution to Nikki's fund just contact me and I will get the info to you on how to do that. Are we sure it's May? B/c as I sit here and type this I am wearing a sweater with the heat on and I'm still freezing !! I'm just sayin'..... 2 days ago I thought I was dying of heatstroke after running at 5:30 in the evening and now I'm a popsicle! and my poor baby has his first ear infection :( it's so sad- feel better Majee Moo !!

Not sure if I would want my Dr. to wear his stethoscope this way but if he is this cute I might not mind :)

This is the face I have to look at every morning while the waffle is in the toaster- he gets very excited to see the waffle as it comes out of the freezer but that quickly turns into this look when it disappears into the toaster- I have tried explaining to him that he cannot eat it frozen but he cares not- he just wants his waffle NOW !!!

Happy Birthday Houston Wade Thomas- I can't belive my sweet boy is 5 today !! Daddy, Sissy, Maj and I love you sooooo much and hope you have had an awesome birthday- H-man had a great bowling birthday party yesterday and today we went to church and then to "Salsies" (Dos Salsas) to eat lunch- H got to wear the Mariachi hat and everyone sang to him- then we came home and he opened a bunch of presents and now we are putting together 5 million pieces of Star Wars Legos- seriously...he has a slight obsession with Star Wars- these pictures aren't the best but they are the only ones I have from lunch (I left the camera in the car and didnt have time to get it before they came to sing)




yes that is Chezzie with us at lunch- if you know H then you know he isn't often far from his bestest, most loyal frog Chezzie :) and really.... what kind of celebration would it be without your best bud!! I love you with all my heart and soul H-man- here's to many more fun birthday's with Chezzie and may the force always be with you!
