Visit from The Grents!

On Valentines Day, we got a special treat; a visit from Gramby and Geezer!!

Waiting for them to come, I took a picture of the girls in the shirts that Grandma Lala sent for Valentines Day.

Gramby brought Lily and Clementine's presents for their birthdays next month, and when we were about to open them, Gramby said something like, "Ok, time for Lily and Clementine to open their presents!" and Goo asked, "And me open presents?" I gently explained to her that she didn't have a birthday coming up, which was followed by tears. So Geezer made it all better by bringing out the glow sticks!
Now we have a happy two year old!
Lily got a fun art pad, an outfit, and a book!
Clementine got a couple of books and an outfit!

The other part of Lily's birthday present was a trip to the Mobius Children's Museum in Spokane, which was a big it with all three girls. Clementine enjoyed the baby area.
Grace the construction worker.
Grace dressing up.
This is where Lilypie spent 99% of her time. She LURVED the water table, as did Geezer, it seems!
Clementine made a little music.
She also dressed up!
Goo couldn't quite get the hang of the swivel motion of these cars, so she just scooted around with her feet.
She also enjoyed being a fireman!
Clementine cuddled with Gramby.
Geezer and Lily successfully blocked off one half of he water table! Huzzah!

Thanks for the visit, Mom and Dad! We had a lot of fun!

Neighbor Christmas

Have I ever mentioned that we have the best neighbors? Well, we do. In particular, Denise and Deloris who live two houses down are just so sweet. They cook for us rather often, and dog sit for us when we go out of town. They even came over to babysit Grace last Spring when Lily had swim lessons. They also completely spoil our girls. They made them rag quilts for Christmas a couple of years ago, and they always have cookies or some kind of treat for them when we go down to visit. They're just sweet friends. But they don't like the cold, so this winter, they found a house sitter and headed south until Spring. However, they didn't forget to spoil our girls, and a few day ago, we got a package in the mail from them. Guess what they got our girls for Christmas?

A Cotton Candy machine! Oh goodness, the girls were SO EXCITED!!! So after dinner the other night, we fired it up and made some cotton candy, and I'm here to tell you that we had a couple of girls bouncing off the walls from excitement! (And probably from eating pure sugar...)

Look how excited she is!
