Here are a few random differences we've noticed since moving here:
1. You MUST hold the gas pump the entire time your're pumping {that little clicker is not there and you can't hop back in your car...even when its blizzarding}.
2. "Expectant mothers" and "Mothers with Small Children" parking actually exists! {Looking forward to using it someday!}
3. Everyone here has nice cars.
4. You can drive for an hour in any direction and be in another state/ocean.
5. It rains almost every other day and everyone says this is a "dry year"!
6. I hear the phrase "All Set" {meaning "I'm good" on the west coast} at least 5 times a day.
7. Signs say "Rotary" not roundabout.
8. Don't pronounce city names as they appear...Peabody, Worchester, Loeminster, Belchertown, Holyoke, etc.
9. Super humid-don't even bother with your hair.
10. Freeway off-ramps are on both the left and right=Scary!
11. Living here makes your car windshield cluttered, {which causes a problem with #10}. You must have your registration sticker, GPS {if you don't want to be lost} and FastPass {if you go on 50% of the highways}!
12. Fruit Flys are everywhere. I cant get rid of them. They live in our house, in the bathroom, at work, car, and probably in our food...
