Tiaras and T-Tops

Our Valentine's Day was anything but romantic, full of chocolate, flowers, and a nice dinner. We went to Utah this weekend, and managed to catch the flu bug, and it is one nasty flu bug! I have it the worst, with the works, cough, sore throat, body aches and chills, vomiting, fever, headache, you name it. Brennen and Avalynn haven't gotten bad, Bren has been tired and had some aches and Avalynn threw up once. So we spent the day confined to our house, having to miss out on a big group date that I had planned with a bunch of our friends. =( But I guess the true love was shown by Brennen as he took care of me, catering to my every need and watching Avalynn all day! These are the only pictures I have from the day.... Avalynn got a package in the mail from Grandma Leslie, a fun Valentine's Day card and the cutest, softest blanket!

Brennen made this really sweet poem for Avalynn for Christmas this year. I knew he had been working on something for Christmas but didn't know what, and when I opened this and read it it brought tears to my eyes. He has a way with words and is such a good poet!
