Tiaras and T-Tops

Brennen and I went on an overnighter in Denver for our. We did a session at the temple, had dinner at Red Robin (we were starving by the time it was time to eat and went to the closest place possible!), walked around Park Meadows mall, and then got cheesecake at The Cheesecake Factory. It was fun to spend time just us and talk about all the last 8 years has held for us!

 We stopped at Deseret Book and got each of the kids a little gift. Avalynn got a CTR ring and Rawson  got a "Future Missionary" tag. 

Tate and Avalynn are two peas in a pod. They play so well together that Kim and I often say it's easier to have them together than not because they keep each other occupied and entertained. Tate was over one afternoon so I snapped these pictures of them and am in love with how they turned out!

Rawson and I use Tuesday's while Avalynn is at school to run errands. We usually go to Sprouts, and for a few weeks would take Daddy a muffin at work. Rawson loved being able to see Bren, and was so proud to carry his muffin to him!

For FHE Brennen introduced the kids to "Cookies & Milk"! I'm not much of a cookies and milk person so I guess they've been a little neglected. To say they loved it is an understatement!

This girl loves everything girly...lip stuff, nail polish, dresses, you name it! 

I'm pretty lucky to have some awesome and dang fun friends! For a recent girl's night out we decided to go play BINGO. We were a little surprised to find out that the session didn't even start until 10, which meant a little bit of tired craziness came out!

I love the little traditions we have as a family for General Conference every April and October. I wasn't planning on getting our "conference tent" out on Saturday, but as soon as I told Avalynn it was conference day she asked for the tent. I love that she remembers and looks forward to it! We had yummy food, some activities for the kids, and lots of snuggles. A perfect weekend!
