Just being in line for this ride was almost too much for me. Anyone who knows about my fear of heights should also know that this extends to stairs that aren't solid--think steel mesh, slatted, etc. (You can briefly see the stairs/platform in the video at about 43 seconds.) Once I got through that part, I realized that there are only two rows per car and I definitely DON'T want to be in the front row! I told the woman assigning seats that I really didn't want to be in the front--she says she'll see what she can do. Luckily it worked out and we were in the second row. I had already told the boys that they MUST sit on either side of me if they wanted me to go on this ride with them (Maren had opted out of this one). We got on and then it was too late--I had no choice but to continue.
The first thing that happens is you shoot out and go straight up and straight down. Can you say "screamed really really really loud?" Then there's some more curves and hills. But the worst is yet to come--the double twist.
I couldn't even keep screaming it was so scary! The boys are just laughing and having fun while I'm wondering why I ever agreed to this. Lucky for me it was over in a minute and 46 seconds. As we got off, Aubrey asked me if I liked it. I truthfully said that I was glad I had tried it, but would most definitely NOT be riding it again!
