Everyone tells me I look small, but look at that belly! That is not small!

Today Amorette threw a baby shower for Serena. It is a lot of fun to compare our pregnancies. She is having triplets, and I think she is about 6 weeks behind me. We are pretty close to the same size though, and I bet she will pass me up at some point. If I ever get overwhelmed thinking about two babies, I always remember Serena and think, "at least it's not three!!"  I can't imagine having triplets!

Week 28, July 11th

Today was Kellie's birthday. I met her and mom and we went to lunch at Sweet Tomatoes, then we went to her house to see her new plants she had planted. Her yard and her courtyard are so nice! We stayed there for a bit, and then I headed home. I am starting to get tired and uncomfortable more easily.

July 4th, Week 27


 For the 4th of July, we had thought about going to the Stadium of Fire (Kelly Clarkson and Cirque du Soleil!!), but decided I would probably be too uncomfortable. We thought we would just play it by ear. During the day, we went to Aunt Suzie's and had a barbeque and hung out. We had a good time, but man, I was so hot! We were inside, too! Then we came home and I took a nap that ended up lasting until 9:00 pm! When I woke up, we had some dinner and heard people setting of fireworks, so we went out on the porch to watch all the neighbors. Now that aerial fireworks are legal, EVERYONE does them. It seemed like we were completely surrounded by people doing fireworks. It was pretty cool.

A few weeks ago Preston noticed a billboard that said Thanksgiving point would be having a 4th of July show with the symphony and fireworks, so we decided to go. We had gone to Deer Valley a few years ago for something similar, and we really enjoyed it. This time was a lot of fun too. Preston and I got there early to save seats. We took lots of yummy food and chairs and blankets, and hung out for a while. I just love being outside. It is so nice. I could lie outside on a blanket all day. It was a tiny bit overcast, and there was a nice breeze, so it wasn't too hot. It was perfect! Mom, Dad, and Kellie came right before the show, and it was really cool. The fireworks were awesome. They shot them off from the top of the waterfall, and you could hear it echo when they shot. Usually when you watch fireworks, you can't hear the launch, but this was so cool because it was like a rocket noise every time they shot up. Here are some pics:
