October is always a favorite month for my kids. They love going to the store to pick out their Halloweeen costumes. They also love to drive around and see peoples homes who have decorated for Halloween. We seem to look for any and all opportunities for the kids to get to wear their costumes.
Spooktacular is our annual elementary school tradition. The kids love this Halloween carnival. They come home with a bag full of prizes.
Getting ready for the Trunk or Treat. We actually made it to 2 this year. One is Las Vegas and one in Salt Lake.
We made a quick weekend trip to Utah to celebrate Halloween. Finn with one of the Witches from Gardner Village.
We also were able to take the kids to the beach on our trip. The morning started out a little overcast, but within the first hour the sun was out. It was a great day for the beach. The kids had fun building sand castles and playing in the water with Josh. Piper and I sat on the sand and one of us took a nap. I wish I could say it was me.
A few weeks ago we were able to spend a weekend in San Diego with our good friends from Medical School, who are living there now. It was great to see the Smith family again and reconnect. We all had a great time. On Saturday we took the kids to Legoland. On the way there Finn was so quiet. When we asked him why he was being so quiet he said, "I am just so excited and if I am noisy Dad might get in an accident. "
Finn and Sabrina had such a great time together. They became great little friends over the weekend.
Thanks again Jordan and Jessica for letting us come stay. It was so good to see you all. We miss you like crazy!
