Too Crowded

Emma likes to sleep with her babies. One night we overheard her telling them all to move over to make room for her!

Happy B-day Todd

For Todd's birthday we went to Polly's for dinner. The kids played in their playroom and we had a great dinner, opened presents and brought our own cherry cheesecake! The balloon lady even made Todd a great birthday crown to wear.

Potty Training...attempt three

Potty training went well for one of the twins...Can you guess who? Wyatt! He learned right away and is already trying to have swordfights with Carson! He is dry at night and pooping in the toilet. Way to go Wyatt!!

Emma on the other hand took awhile (or should I say is taking awhile). She spent three days peeing all over everything. I finally took her to Target to pick out a potty toy. She picked a Hanna Montana microphone, then proceeded to go potty in the bathroom of Target so she could get her microphone. I think she is a girl who knows what she wants and does everything on HER terms. Pooping is not going so well. We'll leave it at that.

A Getaway

I'm leaving in the morning for a scrapbooking weekend! I'm meeting Chan and Beka in Saint George to do some serious scrapbooking, reading by the pool, eating, and chatting!!

Things I won't miss:
  • Cleaning poopy panties (3 times a day)
  • Getting ready for Open House
  • My hands smelling like poop no matter how many times I wash them
  • Dinner/dishes
Things I will miss:
  • Having some girl time with Emma while the boys are at the Fathers and Sons campout
  • Having the kids run to me saying "Mommy!" when I pick them up from day care
  • Church (our Marriage and Family class especially)
  • Saying family prayers
  • Sleeping with my husband

Mother's Day

Check out my new apron!
But the best present I got were these cards my kids made me...
Wyatt drew "W's" all over his card
Carson loves me because I drive him to soccer(top two pictures). He loves to lay with me under the blanket(bottom left picture). He loves to help me set the table(bottom right picture).

Emma drew me a picture of a roller coaster (left), a scary ride (top right), and pumpkins (bottom left).

Blessings

So, just when you think you can't take an ounce more of IT!! (It=potty on the floor, poop in underware, pay cuts, new tires, broken CD changers, etc.) Blessings happen...Carson bore his testimony in church, by himself and it was very heartfelt and a proud moment for me. Then Emma decides she can pee in the toilet (still working on the pooping) and when I did our budget for the month, somehow we have enough money. Blessings.
