How to be a Jedi (Carson's 5th Birthday)

First, start out with a boy who's turning 5 and loves Star Wars!
Gather 8 of his friends over (plus his little brother and sister) and give them Padowan training outfits to wear.

You must have a wonderful husband who is willing to be a Jedi Master complete with lots of patience and stamina to teach the younglings the skills necessary to become a Jedi.

Light Sabor Training: Give each Padowan a light sabor and teach the necessary skills such as keeping up the balloons and popping bubbles, without hitting fellow Jedi.

Balance Beam: You must show your balance by walking across the balance beam, jumping, spinning and doing a cool move at the end. (video to be added later)

Blaster Training: Aim the blasters (Nerf guns) at the posters of battle droids and fire.

Bombing Training: Use water balloons to melt the faces of General Greivous, Darth Maul, and Bobba Fett.
Final Obsticle Course: Start with the balance beam, jump on the trampoline 5 times, crawl through the hula hoops, through the tunnel, and finally blast each battle droid.
(no pictures, the photographer was getting the certificates ready)

When you have mastered the required skills, you may receive your Jedi Certificate.

Be careful, you might just get a visit from Darth Vador! Don't worry, the newly trained Jedi defeated him in less than 30 seconds.
And you must celebrate with cake and ice cream!!

Yard Sale

Carson told me he was going to look for toys that he never wanted to play with again so he could sell them. He found this random group of toys (either broken or things Wyatt plays with) and insisted that I get out a table so he could have an "art sale". I corrected him and told him it was called a yard sale and no one knew we were having one so no one would come over. He then wanted to call his friends and make signs.

So if any of these lovely toys look good to you, come on over or make Carson an offer!

Star Wars Party

Our library put on a Star Wars party. Carson was so excited. He kept asking how many more days until the party. They had Darth Vader and Obi Wan reading stories, folding your own paper spaceship, making your Star Wars name (Carson was Morca Anipom), video games, R2D2 masks, and lots of crazy fanatics! You'll notice Wyatt isn't in the picture. He wouldn't go anywhere near the Storm Troopers, and Emma chased Princess Leia for 100 yards to say hi to her!
