Cousins Camp
After spending a few days in Utah we headed up to Island Park, Idaho to spend time with The Mortensen's. Some of our favorite things we did there was playing games at night, playing Bunco, playing soccer, baseball, and ultimate frisbee, rafting down the river catching fish and having water fights, watching Todd and Craig go bridge jumping, Todd and Bryce doing lots of fishing, sitting on the porch in the morning reading my scriptures, going running with Krista and Maralee, taking family pictures, and having our own family Water Olympics.

Sidewalk of Fire
One of the reasons we went up early was to go to Todd and Kathy's neighborhood block party, The Sidewalk of Fire. It was amazing! They had booths set up with games cotton candy and face painting. Yummy baked goods, a children's parade and the most amazing firework show. Arials and fountains going constantly for about 20 minutes. It was such a good show we didn't even go out to see fireworks on the Fourth of July because we knew they wouldn't compare.

Utah Trip
We had a great trip to Utah. We visited with lots of family and had lots of fun!
We went to a big gymnastic place with large foam pits and trampolines.
For my mom's 63rd birthday we all hiked the Y. It was the first time I'd ever done it and it was really fun! It had been very hot, but it started drizzling on us and kept us nice and cool!
We celebrated Mom's birthday. She had lots of help blowing out the candles!
Carson and Wyatt got their first glimpse into World of Warcraft.
We got ice cream cones from The Creamery while we were waited to watch Tyse play soccer.
We went to visit Grandma Ruth. The kids loved the fish pond and named them all. I thought it was a small miracle that we got away from there without any of our kids falling (or jumping) in.
We saw a full double rainbow. Now that doesn't happen too often.
Todd and I ran in the Freedom Run 5K. We ran it in 32:15. Todd ran with me the whole time until the end. He beat me by one second!
We went to the parade and I've never been so hot in my life. The coolest part (besides Cosmo) was seeing all of the Provo missionaries walking in the parade and getting a standing ovation from the crowd. Only in Provo!
To cool off we had a water party with a slip and slide, trampoline, and a water balloon fight!
Rod was nice enough to take us out on the boat one day for tubing at Utah Lake. The boys had fun going outside the wake and jumping from tube to tube. They also loved hitting the dead fish with sticks back at the beach. The girls were a little tamer. Emma and Sophie loved tubing and I even took Owen out on the tube. He had a blast and kept saying "faster"!!
