Happy 33rd to Me!

So my husband surprised me this year by celebrating my 33rd Birthday (June 18th) with birthweek! He started this tradition on my 30th birthday, did it again on my 31st, and didn't do it on my 32nd, only because I suggested he not...trying to not have birthday's be such a big deal!! But you know what? I've rethought that idea and I LIKE, no LOVE Birthdays!! So go ahead honey, make a big deal out of my birthday. It's really fun since I've always had to share my b-day with Father's Day...good people to share it with but it's almost like having your b-day be on Christmas or the 4th of July...it's never just about you and b-day's are supposed to be just about you, right! :) Wow, that turned into a soapbox if I ever heard one!!

Anyway, Sigh was so sweet this year and he sure does know how to spoil and make me feel very loved and special!! (I think one of my Love Languages is receiving gifts.) Each day, the week leading up to my birthday, he surprised me with a gift and a card. I definitely looked forward to the card each day...he would sign it for Drew, too! Silas has such a way with words when he writes... I love it!!

He took me to dinner the night of my b-day and had 2 dozen red roses and my card waiting for me at my parent's home when we dropped off Drew! He even surprised my mom since she wasn't home when he dropped the flowers/card off...she told me I had a gift on the counter and that she didn't know who it was from...I thought she was teasing me, but she really didn't know it was from Sigh!

Thank you to all my family and friends for their cards, wishes and gifts!! Thanks for making my birthday such a great, fun day!!

One More Cute Picture

This was taken on Father's Day. I had bought Sigh a new shirt for FD and thought it was a good excuse to buy Drew a new matching outfit as well!! Don't they look so cute in their "matchy, matchy" brown? (Name the quote...)

Daddy, Dear I love you SO!!!

I love this picture of my boys!! Drew gazing up at and smiling at his daddy!! WOW!! It brings tears to my eyes as I type!! Silas is such an amazing, fun daddy (already) to our precious baby Drew!! I love listening in on their "conversations" and singing time!! Silas loves to make up songs...mostly new words...mostly about Drew...and mostly to the tune of familiar hymns! They are hilarious and quite catchy... I find myself singing them, too!!

I hope, Daddy Silas, that your first Father's Day (finally, your day!!) was everything you hoped it would be! I love you, Drew loves you....Daddy, dear, WE love you so!!!

First plane ride to San Diego!! (Drew did awesome!!)

Drew definitely enjoyed his first (& for sure not his last) trip to Sea World with Daddy (mommy was there, too!)

4 Generations!! Drew Woolery, Silas Woolery, Grandpa Barry Woolery & Great-Grandfather Gerald Woolery.

Welcome Summer...Anytime, now, SUMMER!!

My husband sent this to me and said, "I think this is something your Mom will get a kick out of!" And you know what I say, "Yep, and any NURSING mother, too!!"
