Okay so I am starting my new year off with a bang! I have made one resolution so far and that is to stay caught up on my blog. So tonight as the kids and Aaron sleep I am having a blog fest! I am going to catch up on as much as I can that I have not blogged about from 2010... so here I go... This is my Halloween costume from this year. I went as a Bed Bug. I got the idea from my BIL Larry. Thanks :) It was a lot of fun...

Aaron convinced me to go to the mall this year and walk around trick or treating with the kids and Scott and Tasha’s family. I have to admit that it was not as bad as I thought it would be but it was so crowded. The kids had fun. Chelsea got a fake cell phone from the T-Mobile kiosk; the guy working was our neighbor so she was excited about that. Just look at all those happy faces. They were ready to get all hyped up on sugar Jaden, Kyah’s friend came with us too. She was a Skeleton Bride and Kyah was just a regular bride… silly girls. Tasha, Kevin and Lissie posing ever so nicely for my camera. And last but certainly NOT least is my favorite picture of the afternoon. It’s the happy couple. Aaron and Scottie posing as a happy family with a new baby, that has just made their lives complete. So in the famous words of Jerry McGuire… “You complete me” SCARY isn’t it

Charles through the years… Charles is so expressive. He always has been as you will see in the pictures that will follow in this post. I am really lucky to have such a good kid. He loves to play games and hang out. But he is also willing to get his chores done so that he doesn’t have to worry about them too. This is one of my FAVORITE pictures of Charles. He was just barely 2 and I don’t remember what the situation was but it gives you a little insight of how Charles reacts/thinks about things. For his second birthday Charles got a tool belt, so that he could be cool and help Dad out in the Garage. (which is one of his favorite things to do) So here he is saying ”Wuz Up” Now you can’t see the look on his face but it is shear determination. When He was 2 Little People were a must for him. I think the video’s tape he is holding finally broke from being played so often. This picture is Ironic to me. Charles LOVED playing with Logan’s Spiderman lunchbox, every time...

For a fun afternoon/evening of happiness Kalinda and I thought that the kids should get to paint some pumpkins It turned out to be way more fun that I had anticipated. At first we had the kids only putting a little bit of paint on heir plates and they were painting little sections, but in the end everyone’s pumpkins reflected their own style and grace It was a great way to let the kids be creative and crazy Charles my little ham was loving playing with the paints Chelsea was a fan of putting a little bit of paint in tons of spots on her pumpkin… And here is Mini- Crystal This is Joseph my CUTE, CUTE nephew. He certainly has a mind of his own. If he doesn’t want to do it then its not going to happen (that is nothing like me ) Kyah had the pumpkin of many colors. It was really cool looking. I wish I had gotten a picture of what all of them looked like when they were finished, so I guess you will have to just use your imagination Samuel, my other nephew ...

Well you are going to have to bear with me for the next couple of post. You remember those pictures that Shannon gave me from her computer? Well I want to put them on my blog for scrap booking and remembering reasons… These are pictures of Chelsea from when she was very young , When Shannon and Larry first moved to Utah, they rented a house that was right across the street from the Temple. I ended up going back to work and Shannon watched the kids for me( as always a big thank you goes out to her for all she has done and will do) this is Chelsea on my lap in their kitchen. This is my cute little girl just hanging out on the floor in that same kitchen , just being cute This was taken on our house on 2oo north in Logan. I think Chelsea was bout 9 months old. She was such a ham ( was… what am I talking about, she still is!) This is from Chelsea’s first Birthday. We had it at Shannon’s house and she was in love with the balloons. She carried them around with her ev...

Our Cabela’s trip in Arizona was certainly a most memorable. We love Cabela’s anyways. For Aaron it is like a kid in a candy shop. So we went to Cabela’s in Glendale, AZ for family night while we were down visiting with my Parents and Sister Kalinda’s Family, and brad’s Brother and his Kids Aiden and Sage. So they do this really fun thing on Monday nights for the family at Cabela’s, they do a cute little scavenger hunt for the kids, give them coins to use at the shooting gallery, and of course there is watching the feeding the fish (Aaron’s personal favorite) When we first arrived there was a bit of a mix up concerning the feeding of the fish. The woman at the customer service desk didn’t know her head from a hole in the ground when she was asked about the feeding times for the fish. She thought told us that they were not going to feed the fish that night (which until we discovered that the fish were going to be fed, put Aaron in a bad mood) so for a replacement of watching th...

Luck us got to go fishing in the Bluegill pond behind Cabela’s in Glendale. On the same day that Chelsea got to feed the fish Aaron arranged for all of us to go back on Thursday afternoon to go fishing. We didn’t have to bring poles or bait, just ourselves and our smiles. Brad’s brother and his kids joined us for the fun. Not a lot of fish were caught but the kids had fun casting the line in the water and reeling it in with the anticipation of catching a fish. Kyah had a bite on her line 3 separate times but wasn’t able to hook the fish before it got away. There were plenty of adults to help the kids with their endeavors to catch fish. There were even 3 Cabela’s workers that came out too. The water was this murky green color and you couldn’t see more than an inch under the surface, but that didn’t matter to the kids ( or us for that matter) because we were having fun. Joseph was such a big kid. He kept saying” no I do it, I do it” Every time he did I laughed my head off!!! ...

The weekend of September 11th We took our last camping trip of the season. We went just outside of Richmond up the canyon there to one of our favorite spots. We were able to go with Josh and Jenn with their cute boys and Shannon and Larry with their kids. What a fun trip! It was colder because it is toward the fall season but the fun that we had by far out weighed the cold!!! We weren't able to get our favorite spot because some other people were there and hogging up the place( can you tell i was irritated?)But that's not worth going into. We took a spot just above our favorite. it sat right next to the babbling river and a well worn wooden bridge led a path to a pavilion type camp area just across the river. The kids LOVED playing over there. It was great to play games too because there was ample table space. The first night was cold but then after that we all had a nice weekend. In the mornings we all huddled around the fire trying to stay warm. As the day wore on we all relax...
