It's ALWAYS Fun When GRANDPA Comes!

About a week ago we got to have Grandpa Christensen come and visit us here in New York!!
Grandma couldn't come this time so we got Grandpa all to ourselves! I wish I would have gotten more pictures but we had SO much fun I forgot to take pictures.

The night that Grandpa got here, we carved our pumpkin!

The next day we took Grayer out of school and we hit the town! We first went to breakfast at McDonalds (a Grandpa tradition:)). Then we went to the Museum of Play!! After that we went home for a short break / nap time for Finden and then headed back out to do some shopping. My Dad always helps fix things and make thing better in our house so one of our stops was Home Depot so he could pick up a few supplies! Last we stopped by Powers Market, a little farmers market complete with jack-o-lanterns, a witch stirring her brew, hay rides, animals to feed, and hot cider and donuts!
At the Museum one of the exhibits was "Lego Castle" we spent a lot of time building and playing  with Legos!
These statues look fake but the were built with real Legos
The Giant's (from Jack and the Bean Stalk) chess board!

By that time Finden was tuckered out:)
The next day was Halloween. Grayer's school class was doing a party; plus the whole school put on a Halloween Parade for parents to come watch. Grayer didn't want to miss out so he went to school and we joined in later that day for the Party and Parade! That night we had a pizza and movie party. We ordered pizza, set up dinner in the living room and watched "Hotel Transylvania". Then we headed out for Trick-or-Treating! It was a blast having Grandpa with us for Halloween!!!

Grandpa's visit went by way too fast, and we were sad to see him leave! But we are so glad he came:) Thanks for everything Grandpa we love you!!

Mario and Luigi

For Halloween the boys were Mario and Luigi!
Finden hated his mustache...
(I know I'm a horrible Mother taking pictures of my crying child, but he looked so cute:))

He was much happier once the mustache came off!
