Summer is going by way too fast in only a couple more weeks it will be over and I will be going back to school again. At least Andy and I have been able to squeeze in a lot of fun things before the summer ends. A couple weeks ago my precious bosom friend Clarice and her husband Jacob got to come and visit before they moved to Denver. In preparation for this I finally cleaned out our second bedroom so they would have a place to sleep. When we first moved here we unpacked almost everything the first night but there were some boxes we didn't get to so they just went into the back room but finally we got it unpacked after like 6 months. Most of the stuff we unpacked was boxes of Andy's stuff from his mission and younger years. We found some of his trophies while unpacking so we decided to take a picture of him with them before throwing them out.

My husband is a studmuffin!

Finally reunited!

Best Bosom Friends

Andy and I also got the high score on this sweet football game at the Nickelarcade!

Then this last week my Momma and sisters came down for a couple days. I have been missing my family so much so when they told me they would be coming down I was so excited! Andy unfortunately had to work most of the time but that left us to go shopping and spend some girl time together.

Look at how beautiful my sisters are

We went minigolfing together and all did absolutely horrible but we definitely had some good laughs

Since Andy and I finished Spring semester and now he has a smaller load of school the summer semester we got to start up date day again yay!

One of our first date days this year we did something we've always loved doing together minigolfing. I especially loved this time because I beat Andy the first round!

This last week we went to an Orem Owlz baseball game. It was almost as good as a Idaho Falls Chuckars game.

I have also been thinking about my brother a lot because I miss him so much and wish I could see him. My family all got to travel out to Georgia for his graduation last month and I wish I could have been there but I'm so proud of him because he is amazing. He also got an award for being the most awesome person in his platoon! Now he's in Airborne training jumping out of planes so scary but I know he can handle it. I miss you brother!

The last couple of weeks have been pretty eventful in our lives. I just finished school for the summer which I am super excited about! Finally a break after like a year and a half straight of trying to focus on homework constantly. Andy finishes this block next week but then will be going to second block the week after that so I'm proud of him for being so dedicated! We also celebrated our one year anniversary last week which was so much fun because we got to spend the whole day together without any school or work. The day started out with presents as it always should yay! I got my husband tickets to participate in an obstacle course type thing I'm not really sure but it's called Tough Mudder and I don't know why anyone would want to do it for fun but he's excited! My sweetie got me something I've been wanting forever, plant jewelry!

They are so precious and after they grow to big for their containers I get to transplant them. Later that day we went to the Nickel Arcade, dinner at Olive Garden, and to the movie, Avengers.

Our fun day begins!

We won a ridiculous amount of tickets at the nickel arcade!

And with those tickets we got some sweet treasures

Andy forgot just how sour Warheads were!

Dinner at Olive Garden

Even through some of the difficult times, this past year has definitely been the best year of my life and I excited for all the years to come! I am truly blessed to have married such an amazing person.

In the last little bit I have also gained an obsession with trying to be crafty. This whole obsession started with the discovery of Pinterest. Here are a couple of my recent crafts with many more to come....

This is a shadow box that I made out of two frames to hold tickets from fun stuff that we get to do together!

I made this canvas picture inspired by this great blog (http://www.pinkumbrellaphotography.com/2011/09/using-mod-podge-with-pictures.html) for my mom for Mother's day. She got married in the Logan, Utah temple. None of my pictures are very good but it has my parents names on it and their marriage date in the top right corner.

I made this artwork by putting decals onto canvas and spray painting it. After I first sprayed it was an epic fail! The decal wasn't tight enough and the paint was all underneath it so then I used it as a border and hand painted all the white and the black again to make it more defined.

This little beauty I got on craigslist for free! It was a great find and I am almost done with the revamping of this baby!

This week has been exciting since we got to celebrate Easter last weekend and also Andrew's birthday on Tuesday! My husband is getting so old...25! We had a lot of fun celebrating his birthday. We went out to eat at La Casita, a Mexican restaurant here in Springville, and then for dinner we went out to Winger's. That night we went to Hunger Games since Andy has been wanting to go since it came out and it was such a good movie but really intense! I'm going to have to read the books now so I can find out what happens! It was so nice to have this fun day since the semester is wrapping up and we're both trying to get ready for finals.

We ended up with way more dyeing stations than two people would ever need

Andy with his favorite Easter Egg

My pathetic attempt to make my sweetie a birthday cake. It ended up with a huge crater right in the middle. Sad face.

 Dinner before the movie

 Going to Hunger Games!

I also got a letter from my brother, Spencer. I was so excited to hear from him since I've only had the chance to talk with him for a couple minutes since he left for basic training in Georgia. I miss him so much but am so proud of him for be willing to serve his country. He says that basic training is really hard but he is in the top of his platoon, which is no surprise to me. Thinking about how hard he is working he just amazes me. I can't wait till I get to see him again!

Being married has many advantages one of them being that you always have a date and also a valentine! I especially appreciated that this year as I got to spend the day with my sweet husband. We had school and I had work that night but we found some time during the day to spend some quality time together. After school my sweetie took me to my favorite Mexican restaurant Los Hermanos. For Valentine's I really wanted to make sugar cookies so after lunch we went home and baked some cookies before I had to go to work. It was nothing extravagant but it was turned out to be such a fun time. I enjoyed just laughing and spending time with my honey.

I had an amazing day because of my amazing husband. I'm so lucky that I'm married to my best friend and also the most patient, amazing, dedicated, and sexy man I have ever met! I am scandalously in love with Andrew Evans!

Happy New Year!
I have been absentee from my blog for awhile because Andy and I have been so busy during the holidays with family, friends, and moving to Utah. Now that everything is starting to get back to normal I want to write a brief summary of our holiday season. For Thanksgiving we had the chance to go down to Colorado for a week to stay with my Aunt LaVon. We drove the whole way with my family and even though it was an extremely long drive it was so fun. We stayed in Denver for a couple days where we had the chance to visit some family and go do some fun stuff in the city. We went to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science which was definitely a lot of fun. There were so many exhibits to look at we could have spent a couple of days to get through everything.

We then drove to the little town of Granby to see my Mom's sister for Thanksgiving. It was so nice to have such a long break from school and work. We just hung out, played games (mostly Mario Party), ate delicious food and spent time with family. After we got back from that we finished up school and made our final preparations to move down to Utah. We moved down to our two bedroom Springville apartment on the 20th of December and then came back and stayed with my parents for a couple weeks before school started. The holidays are always such a wonderful time for friends and family. There is always such a special spirit around the holidays that makes everyone all warm and fuzzy inside I just love it! Andy and I had our first Christmas as a married couple and it was so amazing.

Now that the new year has begun that means more school and homework for both of us. I am attending BYU and Andy is going to UVU. We both enjoy our classes so far and are excited to finally have found a job. It was very stressful for us trying to find a job but we were so blessed to have found one in just a couple weeks of looking.

P.S. We use our cats to do crossfit so we are basically awesome!

11.11.11

This year my birthday was on 11.11.11 and I turned 22 so that was pretty much the coolest thing ever! Besides going to class I had such a good birthday. Andy got up extra early that day so he could make me some pancakes. After I got home from school, I got to open my presents which was a Nintendo 64 and tickets to the Forgotten Carols. Andy got me such thoughtful and perfect presents I was so happy! Later that night my best friend Clarice and her husband came over and had dinner with us. They brought their baby weiner dog which pretty much made my life. His name is Brindle and he is crazy!! Later that night my precious husband sang Happy Birthday to me with my delicious ice cream cake. It was such a wonderful birthday and all because of all my close friends and family. Pretty much the story is that I have the best husband of anyone!

Andy and I are moving to Utah! We recently decided that transferring would be best for us. Andy just really wanted to change his major to something he is really interested in, Criminal Justice, and they don't have that major at BYUI. I will be transferring back to BYU and Andy will be going to UVU. I'm really excited for this change in our lives and think it will really help Andy to be able to pursue his dream career. This last weekend we went down to Utah to try to find some place to live. We were interested in buying a house but we're not completely sure that's what we're going to do. We did find the cutest place ever that we both love so we'll see if it works out. Planning and organizing everything for this move has been stressful but I know it will be the best for us in the future.
