They may not be able to talk.

But they sure do communicate with each other.

(ALMOST) Wordless Wednesday

Mallory is a TUMMY TIME pro.
Andrew is NOT.

Mallory is helping Andrew endure his Tummy Time

At SIX months...

Andrew Knox
At SIX months you:

Weigh 14 lbs 13 oz
Wear size 1 diapers but I think that's because we have some left.
You really deserve size 2.
Are in some 3-6 month clothes but we're definitely buying 6-12 months for you
Target Brand Formula (generic if Enfamil LIPIL) and eat 5-6 oz every 4 hours
You are eating cereal along with a fruit or veggie once a day.
Though you'd be happy to eat cereal, fruit/veggie and a bottle for EVERY meal.
You are a fabulous eater.
You have have now tried Carrots, Bananas, Beans & Peas and you love them all.
You don't hold your own bottle yet.
You can hold it and try to get the bottle in your moth but it's more of a game than to eat.
You like to hold your hands on your chest as you enjoy your bottle.
When you see Mallory eat you think it's your turn too! Even if you've just eaten,
You are using a size 2 nipple.
You are an OKAY sleeper.
You are  napping 2-3 times a day and go down for bed around 7:30 and are up around 7am.
Sadly for mom and dad you still wake up for a bottle in the middle of the night.
EVERY night you usually scream at the top of your lungs until the bottle is in your mouth.
You enjoy every last minute of that bottle and you definitely do not fall asleep until that bottle is finished.
Your midnight shrieking stresses mom and dad out. They don't want Mallory to wake up.
You still take a pacifier.
You LOVE looking at yourself in the mirror.
You don't love Tummy Time but you LOVE the exersaucer.
You have a very loud voice and you love to use it.
You laugh a lot.
You love fans.
You are getting better at putting yourself to sleep.
You love your sister and get a huge smile on your face when you notice her.
Every morning (while dad takes a shower and mom sleeps) you lay on mom and dad's bed and stare at the fan.  Laughing and screaming as you watch it turn.
You are showing a few signs of stranger anxiety but it's not too bad.
You can roll stomach to back but not back to stomach.
You hate being on your back and you scream as soon as we leave you on the floor alone.
You love to sleep on your stomach. But mom and dad will only let you do this during the day.
At night we make you sleep on your back and you don't love it.

At SIX months you:

Weigh 14 lbs 13 oz
Wear size 1 diapers but you're ready for size 2.
Are in some 3-6 month clothes but we're definitely buying 6-12 months for you. You can even still fit into some (not many) 0-3 month clothes.
Target Brand Formula (generic if Enfamil LIPIL) and eat 5-6 oz every 4 hours
You are eating cereal (barely) along with a fruit or veggie once a day.
We've been letting you taste cereal for over a month now.
EVERYTIME we put a spoon full of cereal in your mouth you get very confused and need to 'taste/chew' the food for a few seconds before you're 'ready' for the next one.
Lately you've started eating better. You'll look around while you are eating and open your mouth in whatever direction you are ready for more food. Most of the time you are not even facing us but you open your mouth ready to have the food appear.
You have have now tried Carrots, Bananas, Beans and Peas.
You don't hold your own bottle yet.
You can hold it and try to get the bottle in your moth but it's more of a game than to eat.
You wave your hands all over the place while you are drinking.  You often stroke your hair or face while you are eating.
You are using a size 2 nipple.
