Jamesport

Mom and Dad are visiting this week, so yesterday Mom, Sarah, and I headed to Jamesport for a fun Amish shopping trip. We snapped this pic of Gramma and the kids outside the Jamesport Country Store. We didn't want to get too close to the horse and buggy...not sure how the Amish feel about their "cars" being used as photo props by the tourists!! : )

Post-Preschool: Jack Style

This is what happens when my little boy who is big enough to go to preschool (still adjusting to him being that old, makes me sad a little!) misses naps on school days. He sleeps great those nights though! : )

The girls are busy too...

With Avery and Jack both in school Nora and I get some alone time together. She naps most of it...but we still get some girl time, and we keep busy. Nora likes to torment me and keep me running around putting up baby gates, baby proofing outlets, and making sure she's only eating food the boys dropped on the floor their last meal and not rocks or acorns they've brought in. : ) She's super busy trying to figure out how to grow up. She crawls everywhere, pulls herself up to things and walks along them, has 6 teeth (6!!!),  and says"mamamama" and "dadadada". We love this sweet, adorable, chubby cheeked, happy, bright eyed girl. I just wish she'd stop trying (and succeeding!) to be so big!
I've been staying busy too. Between school schedules, housework, Nora, church callings, and my new venture of selling vinyl decals I've been going all the time it seems. I like to be busy though, so it works for me. : )

So we girls aren't just sitting around eating bon bons while the menfolk are off learning and working. Though that does sound nice sometimes!! : )

Here are some girl pictures. And by girl pictures I mean 99.9% Nora pictures, of course.

Preschool: Jack style

Jack started preschool last week! He was so excited to go to the same one Avery went a couple years ago. After Avery started school in August Jack asked every day (every single day!) when it was his turn to start. Finally the day came and he was so excited, Avery was giving him tips and telling him how fun it was going to be. Every night we have Avery get his clothes for the next day ready, so the night before preschool we told Jack to get clothes too, that was pretty exciting for him. He loves doing everything Avery does so I think that's one thing that excites him about going to school, now he's big like Avery. Nora and I have quiet afternoons, it's kind of strange. My boy is too big, how did that even happen?!
