LONG TIME NO BLOG!!

Yes...Yes...Yes....I know its been ages....about seven months to be more exact!! Hold on to your britches cause I'm fixin' to update this bad boy!! I have been without a computer power cord for forever and was too lazy and cheap to spend money on a cord but I finally sucked it up and did it. So now I have been able to put all my pictures on my laptop and I can blog. I am actually going to try and start where I left off. It may not be as detailed but since I use this for some sort of a journal/scrapbook I wanted to continue from there. Bear with me cause it may take a bit to get to the current events. I know you all are so very excited cause I know that there are SO many people that look at my families happenings...not really!!!

What 5 Months Brings...

Brynleigh is now 5 1/2 months. I'm always two weeks behind. I can not believe that she is almost 6 months old. Seems like yesterday we were bringing Miss Princess home. She is excited to start eating rice cereal. She is growing up way too fast. She is a mover...always on the go! It's time to baby proof the house. She is now crawling. She never wants to sit still. We are trying to teach her how to sit up on her own but she is too busy to just sit there. She is getting it now. Yesterday she starting to try to pull up on things. We are going to have our hands full with this little busy body. Here are some cute pics from the month.

We went over to Natalie & KC's for KC's 30th birthday party and some pumpkin carving. These are some of the pictures of the kids, Joel & me.

Brynleigh's 1st Pumpkin

This is how I found Brynleigh when I went to get her out of her crib from her nap. Her crib was immediately lowered!!

I found Brynleigh sleeping like this just a few minutes ago. This can not be comfortable. Her head isn't even laying on anything. It's pressed up against the bumper. Goofy child!!

Brynleigh's 4 Months Old!!

Okay...so she is 4 1/2 months. Our little girl is growing up SO fast!! I can't believe all the things she is learning to do. Her little personality is definitely coming out now! She is such a happy baby! We can't get enough of her!!
Brynleigh's 4 1/2 month stats:
Weight: 11 pounds 9.5 ounces / 5-10%
Height: 24 3/4 in / 50-75%
Head: 38 cm / less than 3%
In two months she gained close to two pounds, she grew 3 3/4 inches, and her head grew 2 cm. What a little one!!
Brynleigh's Shots
One not so happy little girl! :(
She rolls everywhere now! Has been since three months. She started on the blue mat when I layed her down and I found her all they way over by they drum set. She had picked up the foot pedal up over her head and set it down right before I took the picture.
She brings her legs up under her and is almost on all fours. She LOVES her pink doggy from Great Grandma Stephan!! She loves to bite it!! Won't be long until she is crawling!
"I believe I can fly!!"
Brynleigh has figured out how to take her nightgown off. I found her like this two mornings in a row!! What a wiggly little girl!
Helping Mommy and Taylor make cookies. So fun!!
Brynleigh tried Rice Cereal for the first time and loved it but we decided to wait another month to give it to her. But she is sure excited for it!

Camping with Daddy & Mommy

Two weekends ago was Joel's Elk Hunt. He left on a Thursday and came back the next Wednesday. So...Brynleigh and I decided to surprise Daddy and drive up on Saturday after Aunt Nana's Baby Shower. We left around three o'clock and got there around six. I fed Brynleigh just before I loaded her up in the car. Within in five minutes she was dead asleep and slept the three hours up there. She woke up because the car came to a stop at the first stop light in Flagstaff. I then fed her real quick in a parking lot outside of Little Caesars. (She drinks out of a bottle. Just so you know that I am not trash sitting in a parking lot nursing my daughter. Hee hee.) Picked up a pizza for the boys (Joel & his friend Jesse). Then showed up to camp just as they were pulling up from the evening of hunting. Perfect timing!! Joel was surprised. It was a fun relaxing weekend to get out of the heat. Brynleigh loves it and does so well up there. She sleeps a lot up in the forrest to for some reason. The temperature didn't get above 70 degrees! This was Brynleigh's third time camping. The first time was for Father's Day with my family. She was barely two months old. If only we could live in a toy hauler in the forrest. How peaceful!! While we were up there I got to see my old roommate Barbara. It was so fun to see her and her cute little family after SO many years. Come to find out...my father in law used to work for her father in law. Small world. Thanks for the yummy dinner and dessert Barb!! Can't wait to see you again!
Brynleigh in her stroller for the 1st time!!
Chillin with Daddy
Brynleigh loves riding on the Quad. (slow of course) She fell asleep both times she took a little ride with Mommy and Daddy and was out even when we were done riding.
Brynleigh in her stroller again. I love her outfit!! Daddy picked it out!

Bike Thief

My friend had this on her blog and I thought it was hilarious so I stole it from her! Thanks Barb!!!
For some reason when you click on it it won't enlarge so here is what is says...
My bike was stolen from my front lawn last week. It is a one-speed bike with a skull flag and a lightning bolt on it. The lightning bolt and flag may have been removed. This bike was brand new from the store.
NO REWARD
I don't even want this bike back. I just made these flyers to tell you that I hate you bike thief. I hope you ride my bike without a helmet and get hit by a monster truck. I hope my bike takes you straight to hell.
