Lots to do Challenge - Green and Black Chocolate
Sam has set a great challenge this week. You have to select a flavour from Green and Blacks chocolate range and use that in your piece. So the three colours I have used are green and black with white. I was really spoiled for choice but do like to eat white chocolate

Lots to do challenge - distressed
This week over at the Lots to do challenge blog they would like to see your distressed pieces.
Unfortunately my piece hasn't scanned too well. I have used a small canvas. I used acrylic paints for the background and then stamped it will a crackle stamp. I added my image and added crackle accents to it. I put a metal corner piece which has had alcohol inks on it an then I added the two tiny rosebuds. I used black soot distress ink all over the canvas to age it a little.

Craft Stamper - December Edition
My friend Mags rang me up last week and said "have you sent anything into Craft Stamper?" to which I replied - "Well yes but that was months ago". She had just got her copy of the mag and my mobile phone charm was in it!!! Well I got my copy at the weekend and yes it was my piece. I am chuffed to little mint balls:)
Here is a scanned picture of it.

Board Book Swap - Lots to do
Over at Lots to do - Hilda is hosting a board book swap. Well I had a bit of a mishap with the board book I got so Hilda very kindly sent me one to alter. Here is a sneaky peak as to what I have done with it.
Lots to do challenge - A recipe
This weeks challenge on Lots to do is to use a recipe. You must use paint, metal and stamping.
My piece started life as a label off a bag I bought - nice sturdy card! I covered it with paper and then coloured with acrylic paints. I added the stamping and finally the large black clock face is a metal one. I added a couple of gems in the middle of some of the dials in the background.

Something Compeletely Different - Inchies - Black and White
This weeks challenge is inchies and black and white.
I have stamped six inchies with different images and used them to make an ATC. The background of the ATC has a black script stamp and the inchies were stamped onto stampbord. I used my DYMO labeller to add the wording "Growing Up" as I think these stamps show a girl growing up!

Crafting Corner - Variety Swap - Masks
This months variety swap at Crafting Corner is to use a mask in your project. I have made a canvas.
I drew a mask onto a canvas and then added an inky background I then stuck buttons all around the edge of the mask and tiny gems around the eyes. Once these had dried I coloured the mask with one of my promarkers in a golden colour and then added holographic glitter glue all over it. I added some feathers and then cut out the wording "Mardi Gras". I don't know who the recipient of it is yet but I hope whoever gets it likes it!

Lots to do challenge - cards
Its one of my friends daughter's birthday next week and she will be 21. I have made a cupcake card for her as she likes to bake cakes!
I got some brown paper and corrugated it and found some pink handmade paper to use for the icing and "blinged" it up with some sticky teardrops and some pearls. I added a piece of ribbon to the cake case and a shrink plastic "Happy Birthday" and 21 using the same pink paper.
The theme for Lots to do this week is "Cards" so this is my entry.

Another Card!
A simple card to make. Daisy stamp coloured with promarkers simply matted and layered onto some basic grey papers. Two flower stamps stamped onto the same paper and then stuck to the card with a gem in the middle. Once again this is for my MIL (from my son to his Nan) she loves teddy bears so hopefully she will like this.

Sunday Stampers - Somewhere Over the Rainbow
This weeks theme on Sunday Stampers is "Over the rainbow".
I have used a kaleidacolor ink pad and run my butterfly stamp through it and then stamped it onto glossy card. I stamped the herringbone background onto the card and then stuck the rainbow stamped butterflies on. I added an oval with a stamped happy birthday and stuck some metal embellies on. I finished it off with a piece of knotted ribbon. This is going to be sent to my MIL - hope she likes it!

Something Completely Different - Inchies
A new challenge has been issued by Something Completely Different. This month the challenge is "inchies" and this week the challenge is "oriental".
I have used stampbord inchies for my piece. I used alcohol inks in red and brown and stamped my freebie stamp from craft stamper. I scratched out some bits and then added a chinese coin.
I also made a single inchie using the same materials and techniques.

Halloween Canvas - Lots to do challenge
This weeks challenge on Lots to do is to use orange, black and one other colour. I have made a canvas and used orange and black distress inks to colour it. Home to Roost
I have made this little bird house for the Something Completely Different challenge. I wanted it to look a little like a hen house! I used a CB embossing folder for the room and used chalks for the colouring. The image is from an old book I had lying around.
This will also work for the allsorts challenge this week as they have asked for no stamping to be used.

Mirror, Mirror.....
After seeing some fab results altering the 99p MALMA mirror from IKEA I decided to have a go.
Before
I wanted to use black acrylic as a base but when I looked in my stash I found none!!! So I used a sharpie marker and coloured the whole of the wood with it.
I then cut some metal and once again coloured that with the sharpie (I only have the aluminium metal and none of the colours). I then embossed the metal with some CB embossing folders and sanded them once done. I stuck the squares into each corner and then made a grid with some window leading. I finally cut the words and coloured them with a silver pen.

Allsorts challenge - Tear if you dare
This is the first time I have entered this challenge.
I have made a card following your sketch and yes I dared to tear!!! In fact the only straight edges are on the edges of the card.
I used a page from an old map of the uk and used various Tim Holtz stamps and finished off with eyelets.

Wooden Bangle
My lovely friend Joy gave me this wooden bangle to decorate when I met up with her last month.
This is what I did with it.....
Before
I covered the bangle with peeled paint distress ink and then traced the oval shape onto tracing paper to use as a template and then cut out my ovals onto the last bits of my TSS metal (must remember to order more!!!). I then coloured the metal with black permanent pen and then used various CB embossing folders for the ovals. I then sanded back the embossing and finally stuck them into place.
