Halloween Canvas - Lots to do challenge

This weeks challenge on Lots to do is to use orange, black and one other colour. I have made a canvas and used orange and black distress inks to colour it. I painted the gravestone and skeleton with white gesso and then used black distress ink to highlight the gravestone. Finally I stuck on some spiders. This canvas is for a halloween swap hosted by Sam.

Lots to do challenge - Tags

This weeks challenge is to make a tag!!!!!
I have used adirondak dabbers for the background and some crackle paint. Found the image in my stash and added the flowers and sticky pearls. Finished off with the word beauty which I stamped onto some safmat and added some ribbon.

Something Completely Different - Metal Moo

This weeks challenge on Something Completely different is to make a moo and use metal.
I cut my metal slightly smaller than a moo and coloured it with sharpies in blues, greens and yellows and then embossed with a CB folder. I then sanded the embossing and layered onto a moo.

Wedding card

I have been busy today making a wedding card for a wedding we are going to. I am still not sure if I like it or not. It doesn't scan well as it is mainly cream. The squares have embossing on them and the wording was done with Safmat. I must say that it looks better in real life.

Sunday Stampers - Ticket to Ride

This weeks challenge on Sunday Stampers is to use tickets on your work.

Lots to do challenge - Watercolours

This weeks challenge is "Watercolours". I have made an ATC which is very Andy Warhol inspired.
I have used the same stamp and various colours of distress ink which were spritzed with water before stamping. The word was done in the same way and then all were matted onto a black ATC.

Something Completely Different - Moo - Circles

For this weeks challenge I spritzed the cards with blue, green and red glimmer mist and then used some of my CB folders to emboss. I then used my white inkessentials pen to add some detail. I finally mounted them onto black card.

UKStampers - ATC swap - Watercolour

This month Sam has set the theme for the ATC swap as "watercolour".

I have used my watercolour pencils to create the backgrounds and stamped them all with different stamps. I edged each ATC with chalk.

There are only three for the swap but I got carried away with my pencils :)

Something Completely Different week 17

This week on SCD you are challenged to make a "moo card" and use Black and Gold.

I used black card and embossed some flowers in gold and then edged the card with an embossing pen and gold embossing powder. Finally I added some black gems to the centre of the flowers.
