Try it on Tuesday - Scrapling

Try it on Tuesday challenge blog are asking for Scraplings. I have only recently come across these. I used my scrap piece of card and stamped my agapanthus on it and then coloured them in with watercolour pencils. I added the sentiment and edged the card with gold pen.

Ruby's Rainbow Challenge - Daughter and Denim

This fortnights challenge at Ruby's Rainbow is Daughter and Denim. I struggled for a few minutes as I don't have a daughter and don't really do girlie so I came up with this card for an older girl. Its a Dimensions Fourth stamp of a jeans pocket which I stamped onto denim look card cut it out and covered a card with the denim. I edged the pocket with a gold marker added brads then "blinged" it up. Added the peel offs of Birthday Girl and Its your Birthday Daughter. As the pocket is a proper pocket I may even add some money or a gift card making it just stick out of the top.

I was the only person to enter Ruby's last challenge which is such a shame as its a lovely challenge blog run fortnightly.

They are looking for some new DT members so why not have a look.

Less is More & Sunday Stampers

This weeks challenge over at Less is More is "Butterflies".

I have used a Crafts Too embossing folder and stamped the Happy Birthday with DI. I used chalk to add a delicate colour to the butterflies.

The theme this week at Sunday Stampers is "Diamonds and Pearls" so I added some diamonds and pearls to some of the embossed spots.

More Scraplings!

Another couple of scraplings for the JFF challenge this week, the first one can also be entered into the Less is More challenge of One layer and embossing.

I used some old papermania stamps and embossed using black EP and coloured the cake and candles with pro markers.

For this scrapling I stamped the words first then masked them and added the clock background using rusty hinge distress ink. I made this scrapling last night but couldn't blog as Mr Blogger was having a few problems.

Less Is More - One Layer and Embossing

This weeks Less is More challenge is to make a one layer card and it has to have embossing on.

I have used a clarity stamps Lady stamp, embossed in black EP and coloured using pro markers. I also added some score lines around the edge of the card.

Less is More - White on White

This week over at Less is More the challenge is "White on White". Now I think this may be the very first time I have made a card just using white!
I used a crafts too embossing folder and a die cut tattered florals flower I curled the petals slightly to give a 3d effect. I added some white gems to the middle of the flower.

I scanned my card - as I was getting rubbish results with my camera, there does look like there are a couple of smudges on the card but after checking its the scanner that needs a clean!

Just for Fun - Inchies

This weeks challenge over at Just for Fun is to use "Inchies".

I have used a wooden building block and covered it in inchies using stamps for CI and Art Journey. I coloured them with distress inks and used glossy accents to stick them and give them a shiny coat!

Its approx 3 1/2 inches long so it would make a good keyring!
