Pre School for Bo

Blake has been doing speech therapy for a few months and at the beginning of Jan he was able to start Early Intervention Preschool. He absolutely loves it. He gets so excited to go and gets his clothes, and backpack and basically runs out the door. I think its helping, he is starting to talk more.

Jace makes me smile. Sometimes he doesn't have a ton of confidence, but I wish he could see in himself what I see. He is funny, smart and can do many things well. And he talented, he can be like 5 different super heros at the same time.

Grandma and Grandpa come to cedar on Saturdays to watch Dax play. He is happy they come and so are the boys.

Jan 2016

What a great start to a new year! Daxton has been playing in a basketball league and its been so fun to watch him play. He might be the smallest on the court but you wouldn't know it. He has mad dribbling skills and scores so well, we love to watch him play.

I just met with Kobe and Jace's teacher. They tested well above in every area. So proud of their hard work. They dressed up as 100 years old for the 100th day of school.

I had to laugh at Jace laying there all sexy watching TV.

Mac Charles is full of smiles and kicks at 6 in the morning. Eric and I are so tired that we ignore him for a bit. But when he sees that one of us open our eyes and give him some attention he is so HAPPY. Who wouldn't love to wake up to this every morning!!

Oh, Blake Bo! He finds any treat, no matter where it is hidden. He will get it. Eric and I found him mid stretch trying to get the stocking candy. Naughty list!

Dax is obsessed with watching basketball. The game recaps, top 10, stats, it don't matter. He is pleased as punch to be right there, remote in hand watching his main man, Curry!

Kobe and Jace worked so hard to make an igloo. They used my bread pan, they got it about half way done and then the snow melted. Need to work faster.

We got to go to Alamo for a Tyce night at the basketball game. It was so fun. Tyce is amazing. Him and Blake are friends but they also want the same things and Blake bit his ear almost clean off and his finger.

I take the boys to the bus stop every morning. I actually enjoy it. They are so cute as they scamper to the bus.

Our house this winter. It will be so fun this next year to landscape the front and maybe get a few green things growing.

White Christmas

This was a special Christmas this year. For many reasons.... We stayed home as a family and slept at our home for the first time. It was magical! We ate dinner and the cousins dressed up like the nativity at the Grandparents in St G on Christmas Eve. The boys went to bed tired but so excited for what was to come. We put out cookies and milk and carrots of course. The next morning we opened our gift to Jesus Christ first. We started a new tradition to help us remember the meaning of the season. Throughout the month if we did or saw somebody do something that Jesus would do or when we were trying to be like Jesus...... we wrote it on a piece of paper and put it in the Jesus Jar. We opened the jar and read many neat things about each other. It was fun to see the kids smile and feel good when I read something they had done. After that we woke Blake up and got to it(I filmed it). They were so happy and excited! What a special time of year. Its joyful and triumphant!

These were from the library Santa visit!

I also want to note that we hosted Thanksgiving this year at our house. My first one without my mother. And it went off without a hitch:) And then also hosted Higbee Christmas party here as well. I feel grateful I am able to do this. Good times(Papa as Santa) ha ha classic.
