THE 5 BEST AND WORST REASONS TO LIVE IN THE BURQUE! (albuquerque for you gringos)
WORST -
- Old ladies will drop the f-bomb frequently.
- If it snows a quarter of a inch schools close, Lowes runs out of snow shovels and salt, and it has all melted by noon.
- Strangers will knock on your door in the middle of the night and ask you for cheese, then get mad when you say, "No, cheese is expensive, but i have an orange."
- You will get robbed your first week of living here. (If the person who stole my bike is reading this, can i please have it back...not that I'm unhappy with my used Panasonic bike swap steal? Seriously, they make bikes.)
- No matter what neighborhood you live in someone will get murdered on your street! Trust us, we have experinced this twice (hence why the bike theft goes unchecked).
BEST -
- Great bike trails....so we have heard.
- The food is unique and amazing. If you ever visit, you must try the GREEN CHILE. The state question is red or green, always go with green!
- The ballon fiesta. Google it.
- Julia Roberts and Val Kilmer live in the next town over!!!!
- This one is obvious. They filmed WILD HOGS here! We're hoping the sequel makes it back to the Burque!
