Josie's Birthday Party!!

Josie had a friend birthday party and invited some girls from her primary class, neighborhood and kindergarten class. She was so excited to have all of them come to her party. We met at our house and opened presents. The picture above is each girl holding what gift they gave to Josie. She loved all of the presents. The girls who came to the party are Kelsie, Emily, Sydney, Josie (of course),
Sakoy and Bailee.

Josie's Build a Bear Party

Grandma Linda and I took the girls to Build a Bear for a fun birthday party. Each girl got to pick a bear, stuff it, give it a heart, give it a bath, name it and dress it in a new outfit. The girls really had a great time. Kate got to come too and she was so excited to be at Josie's birthday party. After we got done at Build a Bear we ate cupcakes at the mall and then took the girls home. The party was definitely a success. Josie loved every minute of it. She loves to be the center of attention.

JOSIE'S 6TH BIRTHDAY!!!

Nebo School District Science Fair

CONGRATULATIONS, TAYLOR & SPENCER!!!
We went to the District Science Fair today. There were over 300 science projects that were judged by judges. Taylor and Spencer had to sit by their project for about 2 hours and answer questions by the judges. The gymnasium of the Mapleton Jr. High School was totally packed with science projects. We had to wait for a bit while the judges tallied all of their scores so we went to dinner with Spencer Monroe and his family. It was a lot of fun. Then they announced the winners that would move on to the Central Utah Sicence Fair that will be at BYU on March 25th. Taylor and Spencer were finalists and will get to move on. They each got a medal for their award. We are all so excited for this neat experience for the boys. They will get to miss school and spend the day at BYU doing different science activities and then will be judged again on their science project. We are so proud of Taylor for all of the hard work that he did on his science project. It will be fun to see what happens at BYU.

East Meadows Elementary Science Fair!

The East Meadows Elementary School science fair was today. Taylor and his friend, Spencer Monroe, decided to do their science project together. We have been working on it for the past month. They decided to do one that tests your memory, boys vs. girls. They did alot of it on their own and did a great job. So great that they made it on to the District Science Fair which will be next week. They were both really excited that they did so well.

Blue & Gold Banquet

Today we went to the Blue and Gold Banquet for Brenden's cub scouts. It was really fun. Brenden earned his Bobcat Badge. It is the first award you can earn in the cub scouting program. He has worked hard the last couple of weeks to complete the requirements. We ate hawaiian haystacks and had fun at the banquet. Brenden received a badge and pin that he got to pin on his mom. We are so proud of him.

Brenden's Baptism

Brenden was baptized and confirmed on February 2, 2008 by his dad. It was a wonderful day. We had lots of family and some friends come to his baptism. He was baptized with his friend, Chase Baker. It was a really nice day for our family. Afterwards we came back to our house and had a lunch that was completely planned by Brenden. We made all of his favorite food and enjoyed celebrating his baptism with all of our family.
