Facebook!
Ok, so I have to admit I have been neglecting my blog because I have found a new hobby...Facebook! All of my free time has been spent connecting with people and looking at their profiles. It has been so much fun. I have thought in the past that I would never have a facebook account, but I have to say this was ridiculous. It has been lots of fun and I have connected with some old friends. I will try to do a better job keeping my blog updated.

Happy Birthday, Brenden!!!
Tomorrow, January 10th is Brenden's 9th Birthday! I absolutely cannot believe that he is 9. It seems like just yesterday he was born. As I was looking through all of these pictures, Steve and I were remembering what a sweet and happy baby he was. He was such an easy baby. I don't think I realized how easy he was until we had Josie (she was the opposite of easy, that's for sure). As you can see from these pictures he was always smiling and so pleasant and fun to be around.

Brenden is such a wonderful son and brother. He has so many great qualities. I am so proud of him and am so grateful that I get to be his mother. He has a way of making everyone around him laugh. He can be the silliest kid, but he really could be a standup comedian. He is always coming up with one-liners that crack us all up. He is such a great student at school. His teachers have all really liked him and said amazing things about him. He can be really helpful when he wants to and he is a very caring person. He is a great example to all of us. I learn from him on a daily basis. He is really good at keeping us all in line.

Happy Birthday, Bud! You have brought me so much joy and happiness! I LOVE being your mom!!! Thanks for being such a great 9 year old!!!

Back to School...
Well, I guess our Christmas vacation is officially over. I know it is good for the kids to get back to school and everything, but I really have enjoyed being home and not having to worry about sports, scouts, piano, gymnastics, and all of the other activities that keep our family busy. Although Christmas is definitely stressful, it has been so nice to focus on other things and get a break from reality for awhile. Josie can't wait to go back to school tomorrow. She has told me several times that she needs to learn something and she needs to go back to school because she loves learning. It really cracks me up. The boys are not quite as excited to get back to school, but hopefully they will be happy when they have to get up in the morning. I think I have enjoyed this Christmas break even more because I have been off of school, too. I really enjoy working at the school, but I think I took my extra time for granted before I started working. Now when I have any down time I really appreciate it and try to use it the best I can. I have slept in, been able to workout alot, joined Facebook, and just hung out with the kids. We have been to the movie, went sledding, played Guitar Hero (my fav) and just spent alot of time together. It has been a great vacation!!!
My Little Sunbeam!
Today, my little baby became a Sunbeam!!! I can hardly believe it. We have had one or two kids in nursery for as long as I can remember. Taylor started Sunday School for the first time today and Kate was a Sunbeam. She was so excited to go. She just loves church and couldn't wait to come to primary with mommy. She was so good in singing time and sharing time and had a blast in her class. She was so cute. I guess I really do not have much of a baby anymore. We took a few pictures before we left for church so we could remember this special occasion. She is such a sweet little girl.

She is starting dancing on Tuesday, too. What a big week for her. I didn't sign her up for dancing in August because she wasn't completely potty trained yet. Then she decided to do it and was potty trained and we didn't have her in a dancing class. She has been begging me for months to sign her up. So she is finally going to start on Tuesday. She is such a little dancer. Whenever I would watch Dancing with the Stars, she would put on her princess dresses and stand in front of the tv and try to copy their dance moves. It was so funny. Steve and I were more entertained by her than the show for sure. Her little friend, Brighten, is going to be in her class. She can hardly wait. I'm sure I'll be posting more about that later.
