1st Day of School

So, today was Kate's first day of kindergarten. I cannot believe that my baby is really in school. Although it was a little hard for me today, she was so excited and I am so happy for her. She has been wanting to go to school for so long, it is great that the day has finally come for her to go. She was so cute when we got to her classroom today.

Brenden and Josie started school last week. Brenden is in 5th grade and Josie is in 3rd grade. They were both really happy and excited to start back into school. It's fun that they are only 2 years apart in school and now Kate finally gets to go to their school, too. It was a great day!

Taylor started 8th grade on his 14th birthday. He wasn't very excited to spend his birthday at school, but he woke up to this message from Josie. She was so cute and wanted to be the first to wish him happy birthday.

He sure looks grown up in this picture. This past Sunday, he was also ordained to the office of a Teacher in the priesthood. We are so proud of him and the amazing young man that he is.

More Wedding Pictures

They had their reception at the barn in Mapleton. It was so cute. Bethannie did a great job decorating it and the kids had a blast during the reception. There were lots of fun things for them to do. They had a great turn out and a wonderful day.

Here are McKenna and Brenden (I finally got a picture of him).

Kate loves to pose for picures.

Here is Devin with all of his family and Bethannie's family.

Here is Devin with all of his nephews. They all look so handsome.

Here is Bethannie with all of the neices. She was a beautiful bride. The girls even had matching shoes that matched the dresses. They were darling.

It was a fabulous day. It was long and a little tiring, but totally worth every minute. We are so happy for Devin and Bethannie and wish them love and happiness in their marriage. They are such a fun couple and so darling together.

Devin and Bethannie's Wedding

Yesterday, Steve's brother Devin and Bethannie were married in the Provo Temple. It was such an amazing day and we all had such a great time. My kids absolutely LOVE Bethannie and are so excited that she is now their aunt. She is such a fun girl and they are a perfect couple. They were so cute and it was such a fun day. These pictures are in a random order (thx to blogger).

Here are Josie and Noah at the wedding and luncheon at Ruby River. Aren't they so cute? They are the best of friends, too. They love to play together and get along so well. They had a really fun day.

Me and my girls at the luncheon. They are so fun and they looked so cute in their dresses for the wedding. It was a day they will always remember.

Steve, Taylor and Kate at the luncheon. Brenden was sitting at the other end of the table so I didn't get a picture of him. He is always missing out on the picture taking. Aren't these boys handsome? They looked so good in their blue ties.

We took a quick family picture at the temple. I sure love these guys. It was neat to be outside the temple with them and to remind my kids what an amazing blessing it is to be able to be married in the temple for time and all eternity. It brought up a lot of discussion and teaching opportunites. Thank you, Devin and Bethannie, for being such great examples to my kids. They love you both so much and look up to you!!!

Josie, McKenna and Kate outside of the temple. I couldn't get over how cute they looked in their matching dresses.

Fiesta Days Parade, continued

Josie got to dance in the parade this year with Heart n Soul. She was so exciting to do it.

I had to chase her down the street to get some pictures because they didn't stop in front of where we were sitting. It was worth it though to see her dance. She did a great job and danced really well. She is the one on the right.

I got a picture of her as she was walking and trying to catch up with the group. She was exhausted from all of the walking and dancing and was happy to see a familiar face. She is turning into quite the dancer. She has been dancing twice a week all summer and has really loved it alot.

Fiesta Days Parade

My kids always really like to go to the Fiesta Days Parade. Tons of Steve's family came to watch the parade with us, along with Grandma Linda and Kelli and her kids. The little girls were so cute. They had so much fun watching the parade. Here are Savannah, Lilly, Kate and Natalie.

This is so cute because Lilly and Savannah are holding hands and so are Natalie and Kate. Little girls are so fun. They just love being together.

Children's Parade

Every year my kids really look forward to being in the Children's Parade before Fiesta Days. They love to ride their bikes down the big hill and be in the parade. I was kind of hoping my kids would forget about it this year, but of course that didn't happen. They wouldn't let me forget and we went. I walked in it with them. The theme this year was "Surround Yourself" and our ward did "Surround yourself in Spanish Fork Recreation." So, my girls thought it would be perfect to wear Spanish Fork Recreation shirts from this softball season.

Here is Kate riding her bike. Wow, she looks so big. I can't believe it!

Josie and one of her good friends, Bailee, had a blast riding their bikes. They are such cute girls.
Here are my girls waiting for the parade to start. Brenden was there too, but I didn't get a picture of him. I have been terrible at taking pictures lately.

Bridal Veil Falls

A few weeks ago, we went up to Bridal Veil Falls with Grandma Linda and Kelli and her family. It was a nice walk up the trail and the kids had so much fun playing in the water. Here is Hunter sitting on the rock.
Josie, Hunter and Savannah loved walking through the water and climbing on the rocks.

Here I am with the kids hanging out on the rocks. Kate and Savannah wanted me to carry them over to the big rocks. It was so fun.
