Big News

Surprise! Jonny and I are adding a new addition to the family......a new Toyota Tundra! Oh ya and we are having a baby! :) The baby is more exciting news, but Jonny is way excited to get a truck too.  The baby is due November 14, 2011, and I am 15 almost 16 weeks along.  I am only 15 weeks along and I am already to be done with the nausea and infections, I will admit that pregnancy is not too fun right now, but I am excited still.  We find out what the baby is on June 16, time has really flown by because I don't really feel like I have been pregnant long enough to know what it is.  I think knowing what it is will make it more exciting because then I can start getting ready for it.  I would like to have a boy first, but than again I would like a girl so I can dress her up with all those cute clothes and bows.  Either way I will love it the same.  Anyway that is my super exciting news besides getting a truck soon.

Back to the coldest place ever!

Its been awhile since I have had anything to write, but we've moved back to Rexburg again! (not that Rexburg is anymore exciting) We got everything moved back to its place and it feels really good to be back.  We got a bit of a shock coming back to Rexburg since Kingman was 88 degrees when we left and it was in the higher 30's when we got here.  We aren't too excited for school to start again, but at least it will be keeping us busy.

The Past Few Weeks

The first weekend in February we went to California to see Jason and Richelle's baby be blessed we had a good time walking along Huntington Beach pier and shopping on main street.

Jill and I decided to go down to Havasu and see how the progress was going on the yard.  Jonny and Whitley were doing a great job at getting the fence up.

I was looking through some creative blogs and found this cute wreath made out of burlap.  I decided to make it and I think it turned out really cute.  It only cost me $4 and gave me something to do for the past few days so I am very pleased with it.  This is the url of the blog I found it from if anyone wants to learn how to make one...http://choosetothrive.blogspot.com/2011/01/burlap-valentines-wreath-from-box-and.html

So thats a short summary of my last few weeks.  Exciting I know :)

Livin' in Arizona

Jonny and I moved to Arizona on our off track so that he could work for Jeremiah's business.  Jill and Jerry moved down here from Oregon so they could start up a new yard in Havasu City so we get to live with them and it has been really nice.  I couldn't have asked for better in-laws to live with.  Jill keeps me entertained all day, which makes the days go by quicker.  I have had a good time living here and it's a good experience for me.  Jonny and I got called to be primary teachers and I am super excited about it, the kids are all pretty funny and it gives me something to do.  We also got a Kinect from babysitting money it's awesome! When Jonny gets home from work we play kinect, it's actually a pretty good workout too.

The Wedding

Jonny and I were married on October 23rd in the Timpanogos Temple.  We were lucky to have many friends and family come to see us and support us.  It was the best day ever! On October 22nd I got my endowments taken out and my whole family was able to go, it was the best to have my family there supporting me.  We had a big crowd come for our sealing, which made it much more special.  The sealer had many good things to say and we had many people tell us it was one of the best sealings they had ever been to.  Probably just because Jonny and I are the most amazing couple:), but it was definitely a day to remember.

Engagement

July 13th a week after our 4th of July weekend we were engaged!  We had looked at rings, but I did not expect to get engaged for several weeks.  Jonny and I were hanging out at my apartment and I hadn’t been feeling good that day, but Jonny wanted to go for a walk.  I was reluctant because I didn’t feel well, but I went anyway.  We walked to the park and Jonny insisted that we climb this certain tree we had climbed before, just because we are weird like that and there is nothing to do in Rexburg.  Once he got me to climb the tree with him he fidgeted around with his pocket and then pulled out a ring.  He looked at me and said “so do you want to marry me?” and then I said YES!

Jonny and I were apart for 7 weeks while he was in Kingman AZ and I was in Utah.  I went down to see him and we stopped in Vegas on our way to Kingman.

4th of July trip to Colville

By July Jonny and I had started to get serious and he invited me to go home with him for the 4th of July.

Jonny and Ann Meet

I have never been big on making a blog, but I finally gave in and decided it would be a good way to record mine and Jonny’s newly married life.  Jonny and I got married on October 23rd 2010.

Jonny and I met in our Business 101 class at BYU-Idaho in April 2010.  Jonny always seems to switch the story around, but my version is more accurate.  Jonny informed me once that the first day of classes were used to scope out the best looking girls and make sure that you get to sit by them the rest of the semester, I guess that is just what happened.  Jonny was determined to sit by me the moment he laid eyes on me (though he thinks it’s the other way around).  For the next two weeks we sat next to each other in that business class and I used my best flirting skills, but still Jonny had not gotten the guts to ask me for my number.  I had made a bet with my roommate Amy that I could get him to ask me out so time was ticking.  Finally on a Friday morning after class Jonny asked me what I was doing that weekend and got my number so we could hang out.  Later that afternoon Jonny asked me to go to lunch with him at the taco bus, which I told him I like, but really I hated and if he would have known he would have never married meJ.  We started to hangout all the time and dated from then on.
