Twilight

All of my tutorials require a working knowledge of PSP! This
tutorial was written by me on May 9, 2009
It is of my own ideas and creation! Any other tutorials found
to be similar is coincidental.

Supplies needed:

Mask here

Picture of choice

Scrapkit of choice. I use the beautiful scrapkit of Pimpd Designz
called "The Saga Add On: Bella" it's a PTU kit so I can't
supply it, but you can get it here

Ok lets begin

Open a new canvas 500x500 flood fill white

Open pp13, copy and paste as new layer

Layers, new mask layer, from image

WSL_mask261

Layers, merge, merge group

Open frame-01, resize 40% copy and paste as new layer

Select magic wand and click inside frame

Selections,, modify, expand 3

Open your picture, resize to likeing, copy and paste as new layer

Selections, invert, hit delete key, move picture below frame

Adjust, Hue and Saturation, colorize H 131 S 35

Open bow-01, resize 80% copy and paste as new layer, move to top

Effects, dropshadow H+6 V+3 opacity 100 blur 5 color black

Open flower-01 and flower-02, resize flower-01 15%, flower-02 20%

Fill the edge of your frame with flowers, see mine for example

Layers, merge, merge down, repeat this for all flowers

Effects, dropshadow H+6 V+3 opacity 100 blur 15 color black

Repeat dropshadow only this time H-6 V-6 opacity 100 blur 15 color black

Open heart-pin, copy and paste as new layer, move down below picture

Effects, same dropshadow as before

Layers, merge, merge visible

Add text and/or name

Layers, merge, merge all flatten

Naughty Blue

I used the beautiful scrapkit from Foxy @ ImperFoxtion Designz.
This scrapkit is a PTU
one so I can't supply it. You can purchase it here.


Ok lets begin.


Open a new canvas 500x500 flood fill white
Open Paper10_FD resize 80% copy and paste as new layer
Open your WSL_Mask249
Highlight your working canvas
Layers, new mask layer, from image
Choose WSL_Mask249, invert mask data unchecked
Layers, merge, merge group
Move it slightly to the left, duplicate, mirror
Open Heart2_FD, resize 80% copy and paste as new layer
Change blendmode into 'hardlight' opacity 75
Effects, dropshadow H+2 V+2 opacity 100 blur 5 color black
Open NaughtyRibbon_FD, copy and paste as new layer
Effects, dropshadow H+2 V+2 opacity 100 blur 5 color black
Open your tube, resize 90% copy and paste as new layer
Erase a little part of her left leg, so it looks like she's stepping over the ribbon
See my tag for example.
Effects, same dropshadow as before
Open Flower4_FD, copy and paste as new layer
Effects, dropshadow H+2 V+2 opacity 100 blur 5 color black
Open Butterfly_FD resize 30% copy and paste as new layer
Effects, dropshadow H+2 V+2 opacity 100 blur 10 color black
Layers, duplicate Butterfly
Image, free rotate 50 left
Place Butterfly on the Flower
Add your name and copyright
Open NaughtyWordart_FD, resize 80%
Copy and paste as new layer
Effects, dropshadow H+2 V+2 opacity 100 blur 10 color black
Layers, duplicate wordart, repeat 6 times, so you'll have 7 wordart layers
Hide all top 6 wordart, highlight the first one.
Grab your magic wand, and click on the letter N, flood fill color #2fc1d0
Selections, select none
Hide this wordart layer, and unhide the second wordart layer
Grab your magic wand, and click on the letter a hold down shift button
and click on the star above the letter
Flood fill with #2fc1d0
Selections, select none
Repeat this for all letters
Hide all layers again, exept for the first wordart layer
Edit, copy, copy merged


Open Animationshop


Paste as new layer


Back to PSP


Hide first wordart layer, unhide second layer, copy, copy merged


In animationshop, paste after active frame


PSP: hide second layer, unhide third layer


Edit, copy, copy merged


AS: paste after active frame


PSP: hide third layer, unhide fourth layer


Edit, copy, copy merged


AS: paste after active frame


PSP: hide fourth layer, unhide fifth layer


Edit, copy, copy merged


AS: paste after active frame


PSP: hide fifth layer, unhide sixth layer


Edit, copy, copy merged


AS: paste after active frame


PSP: hide sixth layer, unhide seventh layer


Edit, copy, copy merged


AS: paste after active layer


Animation, frame property 50


Save as gif

Open Kittenlove_overlay resize 15% copy and paste as new layer
Layers, new mask layer, from image


Mask WSL_mask81


Invert mask data unchecked
Layers, merge, merge group
Open Kittenlove_frame4 resize 15 % copy and paste as new layer
Effects, dropshadow H+3 V+3 opacity 100 blur 5 color black
Open Kittenlove_kitten2_plastic, resize 12% copy and paste as new layer
Effects, dropshadow H+3 V+3 opacity 100 blur 5 color black
Move down below frame
Select frame
Open your tube, resize to likeing, copy and paste as new layer
Effects dropshadow H+3 V+5 opacity 100 blur 10 color black
Highlight your background
Open Kittenlove_kitten_pawprint_plastic
Place it under the frame (see mine for example)
Highlight your tube
Open Kittenlove_I lovemycat_plastic, resize 15%
copy and paste as new layer
Effects, dropshadow H+3 V+3 opacity 100 blur 5 color black
Add your name and copyright
Layers, merge, merge all flatten
Save as JPG or PNG

Ok lets begin


Open a new canvas 500x500 flood fill white
Open Paper8 resize 70% copy and paste as new layer
Open WSL_Mask63
Highlight your working canvas
Layers, new mask layer, from image
Select WSL_Mask63
Invert mask data unchecked
Layers, merge, merge group
Open Frame4 resize 50% copy and paste as new layer
Effects, dropshadow H+3 V+3 opacity 100 blur 5 color black
Grab your magic wand, select your frame
Selections, modify, expand on 5
Open your tube, copy and paste as new layer
Move tube into the frame to likeing
Selections, invert, hit delete key, selections none
Move tube below the frame
Effects, dropshadow H+3 V+3 opacity 100 blur 5 color black
Now erase the guitar
Grab your magic wand, select your frame
Selections, modify, expand on 5
Open Guitar4 resize 55% copy and paste as new layer
Move Guitar4 into the frame (see mine as example)
Selections, invert, hit delete key
Move down below frame
Effects, dropshadow H+3 V+3 opacity 100 blur 5 color black
Select frame in layer palette
Open Wordtag8 resize 60% copy and paste as new layer
Effects H+3 V+3 opacity 100 blur 5 color black
Copy your Guitar4 again and paste as new layer
Image free rotate 20% right
Effects dropshadow H+3 V+3 opacity 100 blur 5 color black
Open Bow8 resize 30% copy and paste as new layer
Effects dropshadow H+3 V+3 opacity 100 blur 5 color black
Select mask layer in layer palette
Open Button4 copy and paste as new layer
Effects dropshadow H+3 V+3 opacity 100 blur 5 color black
Repeat dropshadow but now H-3 V-3 opacity 100 blur 5 color black
Change blendmode into Disolve
Open Flower6 resize 40% copy and paste as new layer, bring to top
Layers, duplicate 4 times
(See my tag for example how to place them)
Effects dropshadow H+3 V+3 opacity 100 blur 5 color black on all 4 flowers
Add your name & copyright
Layers, merge, merge all flatten
Save as JPG or PNG

Layers, new mask layer, from image, choose WSL_Mask289
Invert mask data unchecked
Layers, merge, merge group
Open Frame5_FD resize 60% copy and paste as new layer
Grab your magic wand and click inside the frame
(it might look weird inside your frame now, don't worry)
Selections, modify, expand on 2
Open your tube copy and paste as new layer
Move your tube into the frame to likeing
Selections, invert, hit the delete key
Adjust, hue & saturation, colorize H-0 / S-0
Move tube below the frame
Effects, ropshadow H+3 V+3 opacity 100 blur 5 color black
Open Canle2_FD resize 50% copy and paste as new layer
Bring layer to top
Effects, dropshadow H+3 V+3 opacity 100 blur 5 color black
Open Rose1_FD resize 20% copy and paste as new layer
Put the rose on the frame, same dropshadow as before
Layers, duplicate rose, move rose in oposite corner
Open Wrap1_FD resize 50% copy and paste as new layer
Image, mirror, move Wrap below the Rose
Select your mask layer (in the layer palette)
Open Heart2_FD copy and paste as new layer
Change opacity to 60%
Open your tube resize 90% copy and paste as new layer
Bring layer to top
Effects, dropshadow H+3 V+3 opacity 100 blur 5 color black
Add your name and copyright
Layers, merge, merge all flatten.
If you don't want to do the animation you can stop here
Save your work as JPG or PNG.


*Animation*


Copy your tag and paste as new layer into Animation Shop
Adjust, duplicate until you have 6 frames
Open flame animation
Adjust, select all
Back to your tag frame
Adjust, select all
Now drag the flame into your tag, and place it on the candle
You're done, save your tag as Gif

Open JFMO-WhisperingPeach-P13
resize 60% copy and paste as new layer
Open WSL_Mask251
Select your working canvas
Layers, new mask layer, from image
Pick WSL_mask251, invert mask data unchecked
Layers, merge, merge group
Effects, dropshadow H+3 V+3 opacity 100 blur 15 color black
Open JFMO-WhisperingPeach-El17
resize 70% copy and paste as new layer
dropshadow H+1 V+1 opacity 100 blur 5 color black
Grab your magic wand, click inside the frame
Selections, modify, expand 8
Open your tube, resize to likeing, copy and paste as new layer
Paste in selected frame, invert, hit delete
Move your tube down below your frame
Effects, dropshadow H+1 V+1 opacity 100 blur 10 color black
Select frame again in your layers palette
Now select the otherside with your magic wand
Selections, modify, expand 8
Open your second tube, resize to likeing, copy and paste as new layer
Paste in selected frame, invert, hit delete
Move your tube down below the frame
Effects dropshadow H+1 V+1 opacity 100 blur 10 color black
Select frame in your layer-palette
Open the third tube, resize to likeing, copy and paste as new layer
Effects, dropshadow H+2 V+2 opacity 100 blur 10 color black
( I've used my eraser to erase a little bit of the bottom of the tube)
Open JMFO-WhisperingPeach-El19
Resize 25%, copy and paste as new layer
Effects dropshadow H+2 V+2 opacity 100 blur 15 color black
Layers, duplicate.
Image, mirror
Move duplicated layer to the other side of the frame
Open JFMO-WhisperingPeach-El29
Resize 25% copy and paste as new layer
Image, free rotate, 30% left
Effects dropshadow H+1 V+1 opacity 100 blur 5 color black
Effects dropshadow H-1 V-1 opacity 100 blur 5 color black
Open JFMO-WhisperingPeach-El20
Resize 25% copy and paste as new layer

Open frame1 resize 23% copy and paste as new layer
Effects, dropshadow H+2 V+2 opacity 80 blur 5 color black
Open tube 'sweepthepandas' resize 80%
Open tube 'kinochibi' resize 60%
Go to your working canvas and select your frame
Select magic wand and click inside your frame
Selections, modify, expand 5
Copy 'sweepthepandas' and paste as new layer
Move it inside the frame to likeing
Selections, invert, hit the delete key
Move your tube below the frame
Effects, dropshadow, H+3 V+3 opacity 100 blur 5 color black
Repeat the same for the other side of the frame and tube.
Select frame in your layers pallette
Open eyelet2, resize 15% copy and paste as new layer
Effects, dropshadow H+2 V+2 opacity 100 blur 5 color black
Open flower3, reszie 6% copy and paste as new layer
Effects, dropshadow H+2 V+2 opacity 100 blur 5 color black
Open flower4, resize 6% copy and paste as new layer
Same dropshadow as before
Add some more elements to likeing
Add your copyright and name
Save as JPG or PNG

Ok lets begin



Open new canvas 700x400 transparent
Flood fill black



Open Misted Mask minimize this
Open Wolverine1 , resize 45%



Layers , new mask layer, from image (misted.msk)
Layers , merge , merge group



Copy Wolverine1 and paste as new layer, move to the right.
Open Wolverine2 , resize 50%



Layers , new mask layer , from image (misted.msk)
Layers , merge , merge group



Move Wolverine2 down below Wolverine1
Select Wolverine2.



Open MetalScratches0040_1_S , copy and paste as new layer
Change blendmode into "lighten" opacity 65%
Layers , merge , merge visible



Effects , AAA Frames , Foto Frame



Width 20
Brightness 0
Stroke 0
Matte 0
Red 0
Green 0
Blue 0
Opacity 100



Choose your font ( I used Wilderness which I have placed in the zipfile)
size 48 , color black



Effects , dropshadow H+1 V+1 opacity 100 blur 3 color Grey (#c0c0c0)



If you want you can add some more text, use the same dropshadow on this



Layers , merge , merge all flatten



Save as JPG or PNG

Open Heartframe1, resize 12% copy and paste as new layer
Open Heartframe2, resize 10% copy and paste as new layer
Move it inside Heartframe1
Duplicate Heartframe1, resize 70% place inside Heartframe2
Open your tube resize to likeing ( I resized mine 60% )
Add dropshadow H+3 V+3 opacity 100 blur 5 color black
Open Butterfly5, resize 20% copy and paste as new layer
Add dropshadow H+3 V+3 opacity 100 blur 3 color black
Layers, duplicate Butterfly, mirror and move up top
Open a wordart you like ( I choose Image1 )
Resize 40% copy and paste as new layer
Image, free rotate 25% right
Add dropshadow H+1 V+1 opacity 100 blur 3 color black
Add your name and copyright
Layers, merge, merge all flatten
Save as JPG

Adjust, Hue and Saturation 19 / 207
Arrange frame below your tube
Add dropshadow H+3 V+3 opacity 100 blur 5 color black
repeat dropshadow
Open ladybug1, resize 15% , copy and paste as new layer
Image , free rotate , 15% right
Add dropshadow H+3 V+3 opacity 100 blur 5 color black
Open Dog1 , resize 12% , copy and paste as new layer
Use same dropshadow as before, repeat dropshadow
But use H-3 V-3
Open balloon2, resize 50% , copy and paste as new layer
Bring it to top
Use same Hue and Saturation as before
Add dropshadow H+3 V+3 opacity 100 blur 5 color black
Repeat dropshadow change H-3 V-3
Open ferris_wheel-sticker , resize 20% copy and paste as new layer
Move down below your frame
Add your name and copyright
Layers, Merge, Merge All Flatten
Save as JPG

Like Flowers

Supplies needed

for this tutorial I used a tube of Suzanne Woolcot you need a license for it which you can get here
and I used a scrapkit called "sunflowers" which is made by Angel's Designz it's a pay one and you can get it here


open new canvas 500x500 fill with white
open paper AD_paper 6 resize 65 % copy and paste as new layer
open WSL_mask5 minilimize it
go to layers > new mask layer > from image > choose WSL_mask5
invert mask data unchecked
layers > merge group
duplicate mask layer
blend > dissolve
open AD_frame4 resize 50% copy and paste as new layer
effects > dropshadow H-3 V-3 opacity 100 blur 7 color black
repeat dropshadow only this time H+ 3 V+ 3
open AD_butterfly4 resize 15% copy and paste and move it to the left side of the frame
effects > dropshadow H+ 1 V+ 1 opacity 100 blur 7 color black
layers > duplicate butterfly > mirror and move down above the flowers
open AD_Grassbundle1 resize 15% copy and paste as new layer
use same dropshadow as on the butterfly
layers > duplicate > move to the right
open your tube resize 60% copy and paste as new layer
erase a little bit of her shirt that's hanging over the frame (the best way to do this is to lower the opacity)
open your wordart and choose a nice text resize 30% copy and paste as new layer
add artist credit and your license #
add your name & copyright
layers > merge all flatten
save as jpg

Go to layers, select new mask layer, from image
Choose WSL_Mask81, invert unchecked
Layers, merge, merge group
Open Frame09, resize 25% , copy and paste as new layer
add dropshadow H+3 V+3 opacity 100 blur 5 color black
repeat dropshadow only this time H-3 V-3 opacity 100 blur 5 color black
Select the inside of your frame with the magic wand
Selections, modify, expand at 8
Open your tube, copy and paste as new layer
Move it on to the frame
Selections, invert and hit delete
Use same dropshadow as on frame
Open Butterfly02, resize 12% , copy and paste as new layer
Image, free rotate, right 20%
Add the same dropshadow as before
Open Flower06, resize 12% , copy and paste as new layer
Add the same dropshadow as before
Open your tube, resize 90% , copy and paste as new layer
Dropshadow as same before
Hide your background
Select your tube in your layers pallette
Layers, merge, merge visible
Image, resize 90%, reszie all layers unchecked
Move your tag a little bit up
Unhide your background
Add your name & copyright
That's all your done
