Henry's Heaven

I can't think of a better title than Henry's Heaven!!!  We went to Beau's hunt club today to have some outdoor time, ride the four wheeler, do a little hiking and play on all of the other "trucks."  I don't think Henry has ever been more excited!  He was in his own heaven and enjoyed every second of this experience.  It looks like we will do this more often!!!

He could not get to the "trrrrrUcks" fast enough (yes, that is how he says it).

We rode very carefully on Beau's four wheeler.  Henry LOVED it!!!

Then we did a little hiking.  Henry was not sure what we put him in, but ended up liking the ride!

"See the fishies Hen?"

"I am one cool dude!"

Thankful Thursday

Sometimes I forget to sit back and thank God for such a healthy and wonderful child! As all children, Henry has his good and bad moments, but as he has grown and become more aware of his surroundings, his little personality is really showing!!! Here are 2 videos...one that should make you smile and the other a video of Henry eating applesauce on his own...a big thing in our world!

Beaching it!

Back to the beach with friends and kids!  Henry enjoyed the beach much more this time around....for the most part.  He liked playing (sort of) with the kids, their toys and also finding all of the wagons, bikes, etc that people bring to the beach.  He actually ran in and out of the water a few times!  There were some good times in the water and some times he wanted out!  Other than Henry not preferring the pool or ocean, we had  a great time, thanks Sarah, Mandy and Laura for the entertainment!

We came home from the beach on Friday, and went back on Saturday night for Emily's sister, Alston's, wedding.  It was absolutely beautiful!

We came home to a happy baby as well!  This is Henry's FAVORITE blanket!  He can't sleep without it and wants to have it with him at all times (not possible).  Luckily my mom found 2 more, so we are good and supplied.  When he has the blanket, he likes to lie on top of it, along with lying on top of Sperry!
We were worried at first having Henry around Sperry because Sperry was jealous of the lost attention.  Now that Henry gives Sperry some of his leftovers, they have become best buds....as you can see from the following pictures.

Lastly, I forgot to post pictures from my good friend, Carolyne's, wedding.  The whole crowd was there and it was like a high school reunion!  Including this wedding, we will have been to 3 outdoor weddings this summer....hot!!!  However beautiful!!!

June, thus far....

June has started off with a bang!!!  We have been busy since June 1st and it has not stopped.  I, however, am not complaining because I love to stay busy.  We started off by going to a wedding....me, Beau, Jan, Bill, and Jess and Brent (Beau's brother and his fiance).  It was lots of fun, but that was only the beginning!

After leaving the wedding, we went to the beach with Jan's family and had a great time!  Henry only liked the beach.  He was not a huge fan of the water or the sand.  Maybe next year!  I, however, did get a few pictures of him walking around with his little gut hanging out!  Pretty funny!

Here is Vera Grace, Henry's second cousin.  He LOVED her!!!

Spaghetti night....

While we were at the beach, my Grandfather, Patty and some of their friends were also there playing golf.  We went over and visited them for a little while and Henry got to feed the ducks (something he  had never done).  He loved it, but really wanted to jump into the gross pond!

The place they were staying had this awesome kids pool, so we went down to check it out.  Henry really loved going down the water slide....on my lap, lovely!

Then....this past weekend, Brent and Jess had a wedding party and we got to catch up with all of Brent's friends!  We had a great time!

Summer fun!

Henry loves his pools, but REALLY just loves playing with the hose.

The sprinkler is a little shocking, but Henry loved it when I turned it down so he could aim the water right at me!

Henry has learned how to go down the slide on his own.  Pretty scary!
