It's that time of year again.....

For those of you who do not have hunting husbands, the month of April is turkey season.  Beau is completely infatuated with turkey hunting (meaning he goes every morning for the whole month).  He gets up at 5 AM, drives to his hunt club and pretends to be a female turkey (I think they are called hens).  MEANING, he calls to the male turkeys with whatever sound the females make.  That attracts the males to come around and then the hunt gets more exciting.  According to Beau it is an amazing experience.  Last week he got his first turkey of the season.  He brought it home to share with the family.....yes!  Just kidding.  Congrats Beau!

No name change necessary!

As of Wednesday, April 6th, I am 20 weeks pregnant!  I am so excited to be halfway through this pregnancy and happy to report I am starting to feel a little better....yay!  Things have been quieter around here until this week (Henry's spring break).  It made me realize how much I appreciate him going to school!  It has been a fun week, but I am ready for him to get back on a routine!  Anyhow....most of you already know, but we are having.......

.........another boy!  We are very excited and very blessed!  Henry will love having a brother to play with for life and we are happy about that as well!
Here is the ultrasound picture when I was 16 weeks pregnant....so you can definitely see it is a boy (the picture is of 2 legs and his p*&^# is in the middle).

Here is his sweet profile.  He kicked me the whole ultrasound, but his hands and head stayed relatively still.  It may have been the Diet Coke I drank on the way to the ultra sound.....We don't have a name set in stone yet, but we have a few ideas!  There is going to be lots of changes around here!!!!

Henry's actual birthday was completely full of fun!  It started off with doughnuts an bananas for breakfast....(just ignore his Halloween shirt).....he looks super excited, right???

Then there were presents......and he cheered up a little.....

Papa came by early to bring Henry his gift....a plasma car.  He loves it!

Gee Gee came by after breakfast and took him over to her house to play for the morning.  They gave him a John Deer tractor which he absolutely loved.  Then Beau, Henry and I went to Moe's (his favorite restaurant) to have lunch.....then alas, nap.
After nap, we wanted to take Henry to the zoo, but it was pouring.....so we decided he would love to go to Edventure.  It was a great idea until we walked in at 4:20 and it closed at 5.  SO, the nice lady at the front let us in for free....shhhhhh.  Henry was a little unsure of the fire truck.  He used to love it, but was not excited about it at all.

Then we went to the farm section where he could ride on tractors.  He liked that part much better.

This is the funniest part to me.  In Edventure, there is a children's grocery store where the kids pick items off the shelf, put them in their buggies and check out (the machine actually beeps).  Henry loved this and it was so funny to watch him do what we do when we go to the store.

Then back to the tractor and then to the bug.  Overall I think he had a great time!

After Edventure, he had one more birthday party with just family.  It was a large group, but we had a great time!

I tried to make cupcakes from scratch....they were dry and disgusting, but the icing was good.  Along with Thomas the Train, Henry has become obsessed with Dora and Diego.....so there were a few cupcakes with Diego on top.

At that point it was 8:30 and we were all exhausted.  I hope Henry had an excellent birthday!
