MY EVER CHANGING WORLD....

Morgan went to the "film". They gave the kids a sack of stuff which included some deodorant and told them to wear it every day. I don' really love the idea of wearing deodorant just for the sake of wearing it. Morgan likes the smell of it... it's Old Spice, the red one. (ewwww). I just usually let him do whatever though, because it's really "H-E- double toothpicks" if you give him the word NO on anything and it takes a lot of energy to cross him.

Hunter went to ST. George over the weekend for soccer games. They stayed in a hotel on Thursday and Friday night and did a lot of eating out and stuff and the weather was great.

Reid's practicing and playing are on hold while he works on getting his grades up to par, so as you can guess I am the meanest mom out there right now. Just way too demanding and overbearing.Wouldn't you hate to have a mom like me?

Oh well.

I went to a really great fireside in Ballard last night. (Over by Roosevelt) A group called Remembering Our Heritage (R.O.C.) was the guest. They sang some really fantastic songs and gave some nice talks. I went with my friend and her date. IT's always nice to be a third wheel.
When she invited me to go it was just me and her, then she called me last night right at the last second to say she was bringing him.Oh well... Someday my ship will come... or is that supposed to read "prince"?

Either way, it'll be someday.....

I told Minz that I don't really ever feel like I have much to report. My kids are all big and aren't really changing that much from day to day. I don't stay home as a homemaker since I have to be the bread winner and I really don't think people want to read about the day to day happenings at the local "Sev". I went on a date a few times with a guy who asked me out and realized that it was a bad plan so I'm back to no dating again.
Hunter tried out for the Soccer team at highschool and made the cuts so he's thrilled of course. Then Reid and Morgan decided that meant they should be playing so we signed them up for AYSO Soccer, which starts next month.

Morgan brought home some papers a few weeks ago for me to sign giving permission for him to go to the "film". You know the one.... where girls and boys divide up and go to seperate rooms to watch a film and learn about the facts of life. The funny thing is that he is sooooo excited for the day to arrive. It will finally be here tomorrow. He's been counting down the days.

Hunter has been doing a little driving each day. He's getting a little better each day. My hair may not go totally gray or fall out completely. He drove over to Roosevelt when he first got his learners permit a few weeks ago and he was so completely stressed out from that, that he got a headache. I kind of thought it was comical that he was the one with the "over-the-top" stress.

Anyway...
Life is good for us.

I finally gave in last week and took Hunter to get his driving permit.nerve wracking.

I know it's been a while. I started a new job and I got a bit busy and I have not been on the internet for a while. Sorry.

I got the Picture board and the shelf and I was so Excited to have them that I got them painted the next day and up on the wall the day after.
