Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve at Grandma and Grandpa Forsyth's house was a little crazy this year.  I think it's because the kids were super excited to see Taven and of course for Christmas the next day.  They couldn't wait to get their new pajamas and put them on.  Unfortunately, it's impossible to get a picture where they are all looking!  We played some fun games and shared memories of Great Grandpa and Grandma Taylor.  It was nice to have Aunt Connie and her husband there too.  Time to go home and get ready for Santa to come!

It's Christmas morning!  Jeffrey was the first one awake.  He came in to tell us that Santa came, but we made him wait for Hannah to wake up.  He had a really hard time doing that!  Finally, she woke up and it was time to see what Santa brought.  Let me just start by saying, man, it is hard to get Hannah excited on Christmas morning.  Maybe my expectations are just too high!  I couldn't wait for her to see the big dollhouse that was waiting for her.  She barely glanced at it when she came out.  She opened her other presents with little excitement.  She was a little disappointed because she didn't get the Lego Friends house that she really wanted.  I knew that Grandma Merrilee was already getting it for her.  I thought after seeing the BIG dollhouse that she wouldn't even think about that.  Boy, was I wrong!  I think maybe next year we will wait until after breakfast to open presents.  Maybe then she will be awake and excited!?  Jeffrey was thrilled to get a new XBOX, Skylanders game and some new Hero Factory guys.  Grayson was really excited about Hannah's dollhouse and the chocolate Santa in his stocking, ha!  He had fun with everything!

We headed to my parent's house to visit and open presents.  Hannah was happy because she finally got that Lego set she wanted and lots of cute clothes!  Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!  Jeffrey loved his presents too.  Grayson got his very own chair and a shopping cart.  We enjoyed hanging out with the fam before it was time to head over to Jeff's parent's house.

We look forward to a delicious Christmas dinner over here every year!  The kids love doing the Christmas crackers.  Grandpa Jeff says we all have to put on our crowns!  Jeffrey and Hannah were so excited to get new scooters.  Yeah!  Jeff's parents got London 2012 Olympic shirts for all of the grand kids.  I love the picture of all of them wearing their shirts!  Even Erin and Josh's new sweet baby Kingston had his very own shirt.  Isn't he cute!?  Merry Christmas!
