Soon...
It had been few months I had not touch any model building. And since I not building any, there is no point for me to carry on posting too. So... I will stop posting and closing this blog very soon before my school start, and I might, might not open a new blog again. Since I don't think I got time to update anymore.

UCF31 VIP cars
Recently finished 3 of these UCF31 Celsior VIP cars. First was the early version of Fabulous edition. Not much done, just basically straight from box.
Here another Fabulous UCF31, but this time a late version. How to see the difference between them, most of these VIP cars difference it from the front head lamp, grill or rear lights. Otherwise, you properly will not figure out what the difference. Now, this UCF31 late version was my first white color car, and everything looks cool to me except some problem from the rear wheel axle. Change the stock 19inch Fabulous Profound wheel to 20inch wheel (can't remember what wheels... :P)
Then is one of my favorite bodykit on VIP cars... Mode Parfume UCF31 Celsior late version. Although it looks prefect on the exterior, but then disaster happen after 1 stupid dust stuck on my front hood... Arrrgghhh!!! Then more disaster happen...make it to be the worst job I had ever done to VIP cars series...
There are some extra work on this car, masking the front grill is hard. I manage to change the typical 'Toyota' badge to 'Lexus' badge. Saw quite a number of VIP cars owner did that, seems like a normal trend to change badges...
Still got 3-4 VIP cars to complete... (151 Majesta, G50 President, 13Crown and Infinite Q45) so..now back to AMG SLS 'goldrush 3'... cya.

Fiat Ferrari Abarth
I was working on this last week. When I saw my models stacking upward and is time I finished those half building. First off was the 3 UCF31 Celsior, since all the 3 VIP cars had already sprayed and waiting to dry...got some time to spare and decided to pick this up. The problem of this car is... wheel too small, not like what you seen on the box art. Plus, finding good picture on this car..found that is not entire correct. There is a vents in the front hood where the kit doesn't.
This picture clearly shown the vent on the hood, where the kit does not. That I hope I still got my old-skool skill making that, lolz. As for the wheels, I had replaced it with Hobby Design 18inch modena BBS. There are some issue to modify, not a easy task but lucky I had made it.
The wheels sit on the wheel arch pretty good. Hope that the brake disc can fit into the width of the wheels after colored. There I slightly mod it with 'my way', lolz.
You can see here is... Hobby Design wheel without the female connector, and the Fujimi stock brake disc look freaking tiny, if you ask me. I make a small connector by using metal tube, just cutting almost the same size as the p-cap, slot the p-cap in, and test fit on the tiny brake, then follow the test fit on one of the etch disc, it fit perfectly. Now back to the modlfy on the body.

Louis Vitton decal
Yes, I did it again, lol.
I saw some Gumball 3000 or even some luxury race livery car graphic online, that having these 'Louis Vitton' on it, like a leather wrap on the car body, looks sick and cool at the same time. Not idea which car I will be plan on yet, since my first idea would be either on AMG SL65 or a Lamborghini (maybe Aventador), but maybe just print out the decal and see how it goes first. Still working on the color LV template now...
All the icon on it are redraw in vector format, so is not bitmap cut and paste. It might also goes for the Prosche 911RS 2010, since I got 2 extra. Although I planned 1 for the flying lizard 2011, but since the decal from Scale Motorsport is over my budget (sgd$70), so I think I will drop the idea. Next should be Gucci decal... hahaha...hope is a new and fresh idea for my upcoming models...

Gold Rush AMG SLS project
Currently I am busy planning for my next 'new taste' project. Gold rush rally SLS after seeing that in Tokyo Auto Saloon 2012 and I'm totally hook on it. Then I found out the design is design by Art factory, a famous car graphics company stationed in Japan. I love it, and plan to do 1 myself...except its a scale car, lolz.
The custom decal was form by 'gold rush' logo, and I did exactly like it, but some area I can't figured out how to, so I add alittle 'my way' to it. (the bodykit on this gold rush rally SLS should be Hamann Hawk).
If this is a success made, I might want to work this out in future...decal design, I guess. Progress on models these day is pretty slow. But high taste of work will be shown soon, at least a model that build like 'art' not 'toy'...

I bought this kit 6 years ago, at first thinking I need to build another one because last one got too much missing part, plus lack of skill scratchbuild it.
First off, glued most of the parts on the body, and putty. Checking all the sunken mark and fill it with putty too.
Day 1:
Since I need to wait for it to dry, putting some time in my masking job since I had sprayed the milky white on it before the body. (Body need alot of work than the rest)
Day 2 - 4:
Prime and check for any mistake, uneven or over sand area, re-putty and sand again. It tooks few days to work on it. I use 400, 600grid sand paper to sand most of the area, then wetsand it with Tamiya 600 grid, follow by 1000 grid. Wash and dry it. On the fourth day, prime again, and check it without anymore mistake, color on the way.
Day 5:
Removed the masking sol after spraying milky white on the dashboard, next will be test fit all parts into interior.
Unmasking the masking after paint had dry on the underchassis. This kit have been a straight foward so far, except the tires is 'ultra' hard to fit into the plastic wheel hub. I used a Tamiya paint stirrer to assist me to do so...after it, my fingers was so painful, I stop the work, lol.
Day 6 - 7:
I spray 2 layer milky white (or Gaia notes tank interior) on the body and 2 normal coat of Gaia notes EX-03 Clear coat, end with a wet coat. Leave dry for 1 day.
After dry, polish is underway. First;y, I dry sanding it with Tamiya 1500 grid (as surface got alot of orange peel), then follow by 1500 grid wetsand. Wash and dry, polished it with Tamiya Coarse Compound. Then follow by Tamiya Fine Compound (2 round), and Tamiya Finish Compound (2 round), and last with Tamiya Wax. Leave it aside with some cloth cover the body.
Day 8:
Glued some small chrome part on the seats and door panel, also fix the whole interior.
Also some some detail beside the door. Carefully glued most of the chrome part on the body.
Day 9:
Detail will take some days to complete, everyday I only able to glued very few of them. Today I will glued mostly those are small or tiny parts on the body. Don't want it gone missing again like last time.
Note: Test fit the chrome detail first before glue on surface. Some part need to bend abit to sit properly. Trim all the part which need to glued. Until now, this kit do cost alittle more than most simplify kit, but the detail on chrome and finishing on chrome is stunning.
When it complete...well this one not finished. It will look similar to this...
