As usual, another week past without realizing.

Nothing much had been done for this week. Most of the time was spent on work. Getting busier on work, but still manageable. As always the feeling of wishing a short getaway still remains there. Lol~

Went to walk around at Takashimaya, thinking to utilize the voucher on clothes and shoes for CNY, but saw nothing to my liking. Instead, maybe I can consider to use the voucher next time on the sports wear there. Hah~

Going Grade 1 for the piano course. The songs that are going to be played are so different from the beginner's course. But sure are much nicer than that of Beginner's course. Must perfect my skills on piano playing. That's one of my goals in Year 2009~ =D But 物欲擅其事，必先利其器，shall plan to buy a piano, a digital piano or a keyboard for practising~

One week to Chinese New Year~ Yay!!! Holidays again~ Lol... Getting 'lazier' after started working, keep thinking on holidays~ - -" Hah~ Helped mum on making some cookies for CNY. Developed an interest in making cookies, maybe can try to search for more receipes. Hehe~ Still remember that during upper secondary school time, I spent the afternoon time quite often at Ying's house, making cookies, cakes or desserts together.

CNY is coming. A time for a reunion gathering, be it family or friends.

难得的聚会

It is a rare chance for me to have a gathering with my 大舅 and my maternal cousins in Singapore. It's been quite a long time I never meet with 大舅 since I last joined the gathering at Cameron Highlands in year 2006.

My 大舅 came to Singapore from Penang yesterday to visit his son WH who had a training in Singapore. And so my cousins grab this opportunity to have a gathering for all of us to catch up with each other and to meet with 大舅. My parents came from KT to join in this gathering too.

We met with 大舅 at my cousin Kiat's house and went to One Degree 15 Marina Club at Sentosa. There's an event there -- Volvo Ocean Race Singapore Stopover 2008-09. Saw a lot of ships and learnt the mechanism for a ship to anchor at that place from WH.(Erm, wonder am I using the correct English word here, lol~)

After that, we went for dinner at Clementi. Had a XO Fish Slices Bee Hoon. It's nice and the fish slices tasted good. Had some chat with each other and after that we headed home respectively.

There's still event going on tomorrow morning. Too bad I can't join for that. However I believe that there's always a chance for us to gather together. Looking forward the next gathering for us. And I think my mum will have the same sentiment with me too. This is a great chance for us to be closer with each other.

Had a good time tonight. My nephews and niece are cute!! =D
