Last Saturday we went out to Lake Bryan and got to see all the circus animals before the actual shows.  It was really neat b/c we didn’t even have to pay to see and pet them all.  The camel was the favorite, closely followed by the hippopotamus.  It was neat to see the big top go up….though it was a little chilly!

This year pumpkin carving was a little more difficult and it seems that every year we (the adults) do more of the work and the kids just play….though as I think about it Luke and I are usually the ones that have the most fun. :)

The pumpkins were much harder and thicker this year so maybe next year will be easier.  Poor Caitlyn couldn’t even get the top cut out of hers.  Caitlyn’s momma got to join in on the fun this year!  It was so fun to have everyone join in the fun.

Piper was amazing…she stayed on the water as long as we would let her…tubing, swimming, and jumping out of the boat!

Well Piper and Will were in Texarkana last week with JB’s mom and had a great time swimming mostly but also experiencing things they don’t normally…I guess…

Conversation as we are getting back into town (we are all pretty quiet.  A little conversation here and there….and out of no where)

Piper: DAD, I really want some Sonic ice!

(short pause b/c we are all speechless…followed by laughter)

Piper: Did you know you could just get Sonic ice?  Just the ice? I REALLY want some Sonic ice!!!

JB & I are cracking up because neither of us ever just want Sonic ice and she is adamant about wanting some Sonic ice!  Obviously Nonie introduced her to the necessity of Sonic ice.

JB: Where did you hear about Sonic ice?

Piper: Nonie, of course….she loves Sonic ice.  It is refreshing!  Dad, don’t you like Sonic ice?

JB: I should have known. :-)

Who else out there loves their Sonic ice?  Next time you get some….think about Piper and her random need for some Sonic ice!!

….that was taken of Will during the wedding….not the only one but it sums up his day.  Poor guy had no nap AND tripped over the speaker cord coming down the aisle.

…but my cousin, Beth, got one cute one…no crying and no paci!  Thanks Beth!!  What a sweet little man.
