I LOVE chocolate milk :)
Campbell and I went to see my cousin Lezleigh and her 2 year old daughter Brooklyn last week. Brooklyn is an absolute DOLL! So precious! She was so sweet to Campbell and kept saying she LOVED "Camel"... LOL She LOVES everything right now. She told Lezleigh and I that she LOVED chocolate milk about 100 times-- it was precious. :) I think it's time for a little sister or brother for Brooklyn. You could definitely tell how much she unconditionally LOVED "Camel"!

Curious?
Okay, you have my curiousity going. The ticker at the bottom of the page says 11,000 plus hits since I started the ticker about 5 months ago. Who the heck reads my blog? I'm curious :) RJ said I blog too much but if you know me you know I love to talk to anyone that will listen (or read... ha ha). I hope everyone is enjoying the posts. And no, I don't blog everyday even though there is usually a post everyday. I sit down when I have a second (usually Campbell is napping) and write 4 or 5 posts to be scheduled over the next couple of days. Sometimes I randomly run into people that say they read my blog everyday and I have to admit I secretly love it :) Why, I don't know. I don't think anything in my life is very interesting but I guess that's what everyone says. I love to read other people's blogs (both people I know and people I barely know or don't know at all) to see what's going on in their life. I get encouragement, get to celebrate with them, connect with them, etc. by reading different blogs. So, if you are brave enough-- I would love to hear from you if you are up to it! If you just want to read and not leave a comment that is fine too. Remember, the whole reason I am doing this blog is for Campbell to read one day. It would really mean alot if you left her a short little note saying hi or how you know her. I think that would be very special for her memory book one day so that she can look back and see who was a part of her life when she was born. Don't feel shy if I don't really know you (or know you through a friend) -- I'm very open (obviously) and welcome any comments. Don't forget to put your name :) In the meantime, thanks for stopping by!

Mommy's Birthday Edition--Bring on 29!
RJ had a small get together for me at Tiny Boxwood's for my birthday. Everyone had a great time (despite sitting on the patio)-- It was just what the doctor ordered. Thanks Mom & Dad for the birthday surprise and thanks Laura for the cake! I feel so blessed to have such wonderful friends, family and precious little girl-- I feel like I've won the lottery :)

Campbell's 'Must Have' Baby List
Okay, so I know there are a couple of pregger's that read my blog (woo hooo Kate-- can't wait for that sweet baby!) so I thought I would write down some of Campbell's "Must Have" baby items so I can remember them for next time ;) Here are just a few that I can remember right now...

Love the Bouncer-- it vibrates and is easy to story. (Thanks Beth & Scott!)
Wedge-- our pediatrician recommended this to help prevent SIDS. She likes it. Did you know SIDS peaks between 2-4 months?
" The Princess Mobile"-- My mom and I picked this up in College Station one day. I love it because it's so easy to load and take with us. Also, the seat is in a "L" shape so it doesn't cut Campbell's circulation off when she sits in it and can't reach the ground yet. The exersaucer hurt her until this past week when she was able to touch the ground.
We have a lamb instead of monkey but this invention is perfect! She can hold her own paci. Yeah!

I guess everyone knows what I think about this item :) We.could.not.live.without.this.swing.period!
Sound Machine from Bed, Bath & Beyond-- $20 (It has a mobile that plays on the ceiling-- Campbell loves it!-- Thanks Lane!)
3 Words--- OH MY GOSH! You HAVE to have this item. Laura saved my life, literally, when she told me about this blanket. She came over one night around 10 and I couldn't get Campbell to sleep and she swaddled her up tight in this blanket and Campbell was 'out' before I could walk to her bed to put her down!

The BEST swaddle blanket period. My cousin Zach and his wife Adriane got it for us. Literally, this is the only blanket we use. She sleeps with it, take it with us into restaurants/mall... we never leave the house without it. Why? Because it's big and wide and light weight for Houston weather. I can double it up if she gets cold or drape it over the carseat if I don't want people to bother her.
