I tried my luck trolling for a few hours this afternoon. No keepers. The sun came out for a bit, and the cool summer breeze made me feel fine, blowing through the jasmine of my mind.

Ello Govna'
Today we went to a family day outing. There we meet with our own Governor, Sarah Palin. I had Jacob all ready to do a harsh British, "Ello Govna" but he wimped out at the last minute. We also spent a great day together hiking and eating.

One of the things we have invested in lately was a decent camera. It's a Canon Digital Rebel XT. It wasn't very cheap but I thing pics like this one are priceless.
Another Magical Ward Lake Picnic
Emily and David got a chance to finally see the way Alaskans hang out. And yes, we do know how to party! The lighting was absolutely perfect for some snapshots. Coming to a Eddie Bauer catalog soon.
The Deadliest Catch
Not long ago we had a chance to buy some live King Crab from some local fisherman. It was cool to see these monsters in person. Of course we really liked gnawing on the fresh crab meat. Wow! You can't beat fresh crab!
