Wine and women


Carrie, Sarah, and Rini came up last weekend for our second annual wine weekend extravaganza. This was the first time auntie Carrie met Bix, so there was a lot of excitement in the air. As always, Bix was a champ out tasting and many were wondering why he wasn't trying the fine vintages. We all packed into the bus and made it to Linne Calodo, Thatcher (one of our new faves), Tablas Creek, and of course Justin.

A day in the sunshine

The weather has been beautiful the last few days and the daffodils are in full bloom. We took a walk up the lane and snapped some pictures by the flowers. Bix gave us lots of smiles and enjoyed all the fresh air. He was entertained by his blanket, putting his fingers through the holes and moving the blanket up and down.

A visit with Grandpa and Grandmother Gleason

Grandpa and Grandmother Gleason were in town last weekend for their Bix fix, as Auntie Aly would say. Bix had a great time laughing and playing...and there were many laughs to be had judging by the faces his grandparents made at him all weekend. This was their first visit since seeing him at 3 1/2 weeks....and there was definately more smiles and giggles this time around.

Finally a Crib!

So the crib...the right crib...finally arrived via my parents. We set it up and all went well. Bix hasn't slept in it yet...I think we will have to work through a transitionary period, but we had fun playing in the crib today. The whole room is set up....we even have art on the walls.
