Happy Easter...

A very happy Easter to all my friends who are celebrating today!

Yesterday we introduced the Spring Woodland digi release at Sweet November Stamps. So for my Live coloring on the Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page I paired up Spring Woodland Alice and Bird with the bunny from the Spring Woodland Fawn, Bunny and Hedgehog set for one final Easter card. The Spring Woodland Background sets the scene and I was able to share how I create the atmospheric effect in the sky. I love all of the great color suggestions that came in and they all came together into a very pretty wrap up to this Easter season. I hope you are enjoying some delicious chocolate eggs on this joyful day!  :)

Spring Woodland digi release at Sweet November!

Hello friends!

We are celebrating the beauty of Spring with the latest digi release at Sweet November Stamps. The flowers are in full bloom and we've got four sets of cute critters and characters that have been busy picking bouquets in the Spring Woodland. The collection includes the Spring Woodland Background, Spring Woodland Squirrel, Cub and Raccoon, Spring Woodland Fawn, Bunny and Hedgehog, Spring Woodland Chipmunk, Fox and Skunk and Spring Woodland Alice and Bird.

My first card finds the Squirrel, Cub and Raccoon gathered together in the Spring Woodland clearing which they have picked clean of all its wildflowers.

Next, the Fawn, Bunny and Hedgehog are delighted to find that the flowers they've collected are attracting delicate and colorful butterflies to their corner of the Woodland.

It looks like the Chipmunk, Fox and Skunk are comparing their bouquets to see whose is the most beautiful, only to decide that they are all uniquely wonderful just like themselves.

Finally, little Alice has wandered into the Woodland adding flowers to her ever growing bouquet. A little bird has joined her and is bringing a gift of one last little blossom.

Now be sure to check out the Friends of Sweet November Stamps group on Facebook for even more Spring Woodland sweetness from the rest of our talented design team. Also, don't forget, I will be coloring Live today at 11am PDT over on my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page and I hope to see ya there!

Hello Spring...

TGIF!

When I pulled out the Bunnies and Robin set from Colorado Craft Company last week, I also spotted the Tiny Birds Worm set and had an idea to combine the two. The extra bird stamp in the Bunnies and Robin set was perfect to become a mama bird to these little ones. I even added the worm from the Tiny Birds Worm set to her beak. For the extra branches in the upper corner I repeatedly stamped the branch with the nest, minus the nest. With the smaller space on this die cut, that was all I needed to complete this charming spring scene.

Have a great weekend!

Spring is here...

Hello!

I've been a bit busy lately but I finally had some time to sit down at my craft desk and do some coloring. This adorable Baby Fairy Daffodil from Mo's Digital Pencil, is another image that has been waiting on my desk for ages and ages and yesterday it was finally time to get her on a card. I kept the color palette simple with just yellows and greens which sped up the coloring. The plaid print adds some extra spring inspired hues to the card and the overall look is pretty happy and cheerful. I think she's just excited to not be sitting on my desk anymore, LOL!  ;)

Later gators!
