Glanageenty - long loop
Was worried about my left hamstring which felt at the end of last Fridays run but instead my right one caused issue. Didn’t restrict the run but could feel it, worse on flatter bits or uphill, didn’t mind being stretched on the downhills.
But of drizzle for the first half but brightened up nicely.
Wore the running shoes and they were mostly ok, not much grip in a few spots though.
A few people out and about.

Sheep’s Head
Think it was a win weatherwise, heavy rain started as I got back to the car. Mainly windy and some drizzle at times while out, so ok.
Hadn’t a huge pile to do, looked at a couple of sites there was issues with and checked the fence that the longer courses have to see where it can be crossed without crossing points.
Then finished by looking at the middle parts of the junior courses, issues identified by the controller but an alternative can he planned which I’m happier with than I probably was with the original, avoiding rougher bits now.

Cold but sunny. Thought I was in for rain but it moved south. Body feeling the early start and the proximity of yesterdays run. Legs had little to give. Anything uphill felt slow. Could have done with a cup of tea before heading out, that might have helped.

The Torc race route but started low, only need to drive over 2 speed bumps each way as opposed to going to the top.
Sun shining during a good bit of the run but did get a shower of rain that turned to hailstones!
Think starting low is better than high, have a chance to warm up before the climbing starts and the end is downhill for around 2k. So probably easier.
Felt good although could kinda feel right calf. Left hamstring twinged at the last turn for some reason but nothing of note. Just need to train now for a couple of months rather than run fast.
