Wow.. I didn't realise that I stop so long ago.. hehehe.. My last post was for the merdeka celebration and now 2 months had past already.. hhhmmm... time really flies..
Well, to begin with, let me see.. in the month of September.. yup.. I got married the traditional way.. one of the reasons why I stop writing (hehehe).. It was a tiring event but somehow it's fun in a way.. everyone that I met recently keep asking me the same question.. "So... How's married life ar?" Well... sometimes I really do wonder do they really wanna know or it's just a formality? Or maybe they were actually asking for more juicy information? :) I really dunno what to answer but as usual I will come out with something pathetic.. ehehe.. Seriously, other than having someone sleeping next to you, doing extra house chores... I mean MORE house chores.. hmm.. what else? But somehow, doing it for the person you love is different (although I'm still complaining..hehehe) Now going into the third month... somehow the perspective seems to change gradually.. I wouldn't say negatively or positively.. but somehow you'll see things you don't see before getting married.. hehehe Well.. Long Live the Queen! (I know... It got nothing to do with anything.. hehehe)
Having said that, classes had started and as usual in October.. lot's of preparation to do.. have to recall lots of stuffs which I'd taught last year.. hehehe.. not too bad.. but due to lots' of changes revolving around.. kinda messy at the moment (I know it's not very clear.. but I'm too lazy to elaborate.. hehehe)
Oh ya.. Chris called.. kinda miss him ar.. hey, I'm planning to send him a few packets of instant noodles to him.. but Chris: do reply to let me know whether you can cook instant noodles or not ya! He is still the same.. voice same.. shape dunno.. but I don't think he can grow much anymore but side ways maybe... :) Hope you get the offer you wanted badly ya..
I'm going off to Phuket tomorrow with my hubby.. This will be my first time going to Thailand I guess.. although my mum told me we went to hadyai when I was 3 years old.. hehehe totally no idea at all.. really can't wait for it.. first time me and hubby going overseas vacation just the 2 of us.. hehehe.. I hope the Pain will go off so that I can enjoy my holidays!!!!! hehehe.. And I bought the T just for this trip.. dunno whether I will have the guts to use it or not... muakakakaka
To all my Indian frens... Happy Deepavali !!!!!!

Can we hold our heads up or down?
The first phase (2004-2008) of the Malaysian Institute of Integrity’s National Integrity Plan is coming to a close. Have we little to learn or is Malaysian culture at cross-purposes with the NIP? (The Star, Wed 29/08/07)
Got this from today's paper.. It's so timely as I was actually debating regarding this issue on integrity in work place just last night. Something happened (p&c) and I just can't accept the fact that this is the culture of our society at this age. Filled with anger but mostly disappointment with the system, I kept questioning myself: 'Is this what I can accept or should I just take a step forward and leave'. But as I discussed this matter with Karl, he did mention that maybe I should have a broader mind.. Look further.. as in the interest of the organization.. But does that mean that I have to forsake my own pride and dignity? Of course it is not as serious as it sounds :) And I wouldn't claim myself as a person with high integrity; But there's always a limit to everything.. For me, everything has to straightforward and transparent. What'd been said must be implemented. But the system here seems to have too many loopholes where all the culprits were freed but us who uphold it were at the losing end.. or shall I rephrase it.. we became the laughing stock.. Well, I will still hold on to what I believe it's right regardless the outcome.. Atleast I can tell myself that I'd tried my best to implement it :)
Still on the same topic,
And it’s common sense that if you want the populace to be more honest and show integrity in their dealings, representatives of the public and private sectors and MPs or assemblymen must show these qualities themselves.
Port Klang assemblyman Zakaria Md Deros lost the satay restaurant he built illegally on state land but was allowed to keep his four-storey mansion built without council approval.
What message are we sending if politicians can break laws with impunity and get off lightly? (The Star, Wed 29/08/07)
I think by next month we can see whether the NIP run by MII actually works, just observe the number of roadblocks, speedtraps and also enforcement officers at work. One will wonder the sudden increase in number and one should also be able to feel safe by the security provided by our beloved enforcement officers. 'Kudos' to them. No more illegal activities. You will even be surprise that Malaysian drivers whom are famous for their skills in cutting queues and overtaking will actually start behaving themselves. No more beating the red lights. Ever wonder why?? :)
But I really do appreciate what MII has been trying to do. I don't know whether it's an upfront thing or just for showcase, but somehow, something need to be done. It had to be implemented or corrected from the roots itself. As a concern citizen, I will do my best upholding my principles and I believe many others who actually do that too. We can't change the whole world but we can change within our own circle. And I believe Malaysia Boleh! We are already independant for 50 years.. And there's a very long and winding ahead of us.. To talk about this issue will be another never ending story.. therefore we can only pray for the best!

Yummy Week!
Last week's makan makan expedition!! (chris..I know what you gonna say #%$$%#@)

Last Wednesday, we had steamboat buffet to celebrate the merdeka babies and of course to celebrate our country's merdeka day as well.. The food was yummy! We went to Yuen's Steamboat and surprisingly, after so long, the taste and varieties of food seems to be better. And of course the chicken wings is still the hot pick or shall I say the highlight of the whole dinner :) Thanks to slerk, mc and lsy we manage to grab a few rounds before we finally quit kekekeke..
Saturday(18/08) - It was mc's bday and we had a surprise bday party for him at redbox. I dunno whether we manage to keep the event a surprise or not but somehow.. who cares.. kekeke we actually celebrated mc and phavz and karl's bday with the same cake.. (haven't gotten the photos yet!) As usual, Aeroplane was holding onto the mic for the first one hour coz they were late.. Luckily they arrived and we manage to grab a few songs.. kekeke After that we proceed to 'The Apartment' for desserts.. Strawberry peach pavlova and Strawberry with mint cream.. can't really remember the exact names.. again.. superb! (at that moment, I did worry about my waistline though.. have to fit the gown.. kekeke)
Sunday(19/08) - Karl's bday.. me and Karl decided to treat our 4 other close frens for dinner at izzi.. First time there although been told by slerk n months ago.. kekeke.. Indeed a very nice place to go.. And the good news is, they are opening a new branch in Damansara Uptown! much nearer compared to Bukit Bintang.. The food was superb and I can say that the pasta there is better than Italiannis (somehow their food seems to lost their flavour compared to when it started operation).. And of course the price is so much cheaper becoz of the 50% discount.. We ordered 2 reg pizzas, 2 pastas, 1 lasagne, 1 baked potatoes, 1 plate chicken wings plus 6 drinks for only approximately rm100.. kekeke.. I guess it's not too bad.. will be going again next month but will try the damansara uptown outlet.. kekeke
Well, that's all for now.. This week will be the dieting week.. left 3 more weeks to go before the big day.. counting down every single day.. till then!

Team building.... :)
This month, Leesa started with a new theme.. "Team Building" :) Leesa, Slerk, MC, Phav, Lsy and I are super committed into this team building stuff.. I was abit sceptical about this at first as this is not my cup of tea.. But somehow, I got the first taste of it and wah la! I'm kinda addicted to it now.. kekeke.. It seems like back in the older days, in our old office where we used to hang out after office hours.. even Slerk don't rush back home anymore! muakakakaka..

I'm back!
FINALLY......... After a break of approx. 2 months.. I'm back!! Many stuffs had come and gone.. but as usual life goes on and on and on and on......
First highlight: The Departure of a dear fren :(
Exactly one month ago, Chris left us for UK...Life without him seems to be empty and lifeless.. sob sob.. But on the other hand, he did miss out alot of fun stuff which happens here..muakakaka
Chris: The fruits were delicious.. yummy! Too bad you were not around to enjoy it.. And we got invited for next year too.. Again.. too bad you will not be around to enjoy it.. But don't worry, we will always finished up your part for you since you can't have it.. :)

Terengganu to ease polygamy rules...
KUALA TERENGGANU: The Terengganu state government intends to relax its rules on polygamy to make it easier for men to have more than one wife, citing the high number of single mothers and unwed lasses.
Those who now intend to take a new wife are no longer required to seek the green light from their current spouses. (extracted from The Star 11/05/2007)
Will this help???? If there are more single dads and unwed guys, will they allow women to have more than one husband???

Hypocrites....
After reading chris's post.. I couldn't agree more with what he'd posted regarding stereotypes of a female role (well, I dunno he sides the gals but not too bad though).. People still have this thinking that gals must know how to cook, or gals must have babies, or gals loves shopping (i know it sounds childish but still......).. And when I mention that I'm into F1 and watch football to one of my coll., he gave me this funny look.. :) Well, not all gals loves only shopping, shopping and shopping! Anyway, just to put the record straight, I'm not fighting for female rights or equality stuffs.. (hence the title hypocrites).. I only want gals to be respected for who they are.. Somehow, some people seems to forget that female are human too.. There's been alot of issues which had been publish openly in the paper where gals were raped becoz they dress inappropriately.. Why not educate the men the meaning of respect? Why put all the blame on the victims? There's always expectations from gals.. **but we gals too have expectation from guys** So I guess we need to remove all those stigma before we can move forward...

Have you ever been let down before? especially by someone closest to you? When you are not at the receiving end, you usually won't feel the pain that cuts through the heart.. But come to think about it, maybe you yourself did the same thing before without realising it? AT this moment, it wasn't the pain that is matter but the bitter disappointment felt deep down inside.. Surprisingly, there's no anger.. I think it's not a good sign as it shows that the heart has already accepted it.. Sometimes I really wonder, why would God created human with such fragile heart.. A heart which filled with turmoil emotions.. Quoted from a fren " Life is actually a form of suffering".. How true this phrase is........

crazzieeee...
Last friday, we (me, chris and slerk) did the craziest things... Chris drove us in his SLK to Ijok just to find out the condition there.. As you know, they are having a by-election there.. None of us actually knows where Ijok is.. Slerk did a good job by googling it.. Anyway, with our not too bad sense of direction( or should I put it, with my good sense of direction) we somehow manage to get there in one piece.. Even before reaching Ijok town, we can actually feel the tension between the two parties.. As we move closer, more banners and flags were strung along the road.. You can see war of words around (some were kinda childish though).. We found a place for dinner.. Before this place we actually stopped over in another restaurant but it seems that they are not doing business because BN is treating the people over there.. We tried to get some free satays but those aunties there are so much faster than us.. Therefore we decided to look for another place for food..The food in the restaurant was delicious and quite affordable and it seems that we just found the right place.. So happen that the front of the restaurant was where the opposition party giving their speeches.. We manage to join the crowd there and got a close view at some big shots which we only get to see on tv.. :) A very fruitful outing indeed.. Too bad none of us got a camera.. Slerk did try to catch some pictures using his pda but the night scene were not too good.. It was a tremendous experience anyway..
After a hectic week, finally my immune system just crashed.. I'm having a very sickly weekend.. sob sob.. and the worst part is, I have to spend my whole sunday alone and sick.. :( so sad.. Well, hopefully by tomorrow I'll be better.. Got to work!@#$%#@ Anyway, I'll for sure be looking forward for the coming 2 days of public holidays!! Haven't plan what to do yet but my plans usually don't materialise though.. So I'll prefer to follow where the wind blows.. Anyway, we shall see.....

pain.... pain....
Yesterday was one of the highlights for this month.. Played bowling, foosball and pool in a day.. whew.. Today, finally I can feel my muscles aching from yesterday's 'activities'.. old bone are usually more fragile.. And late nights are really out.. Anyway, it's my own fault for skipping so many weeks of yoga (although I doubt it helps).. Determination is my weakest point at the moment... Or plain laziness.. kekekeke..
Today, I took one of the biggest step in my life (well, one of the biggest for me..keke).. I finally visited the dentist :) (had bad experience during primary school which eventually turns into a phobia).. Not voluntarily of course, but it just that so happen there's an empty slot and the dentist called me.. I guess I just couldn't avoided it anymore.. Spent RM200 there and it's sad coz I'll only get to claim half of it.. And guess what, the dentist booked me for another FOUR more appointments.. sob sob.. A few big holes in my pocket.. :( Anyway, what needs to be done got to be done..
Aikkss.. Almost forgot one more thing.. I'd witness an accident this morning.. An idiotic white kancil just dashed across the intersection just in front of Nanking restaurant near ss2.. My car was almost hit by that idiot but the motorcyclist next to my car fell.. The kancil swerved to the right towards the opposite lane and luckily the other car manage to avoid that idiot.. Either he is blind or he just can't read the 'Berhenti' sign.. I really hope the malay gal on the motorcycle is alright.. And just 2 days ago, my friend's car was banged by a lorry.. Kinda scary though driving around with all these lunatics around.. Somehow one always wonder, what are these people actually thinking.. Or do they actually think?.. Do we need accidents to happen before one realises his faults? If lives were involved, then only one starts to cry and regrets.. What's the point??

Finally...
Well.. FINALLY!!!!!... I can't believe that I'd actually set up my own blog although I'd resisted it for quite sometime somehow.. And I was conned by 'someone' that it only takes 3 simple steps... Yes, I agree, but the agony of it is unbelievable (bear in mind, I'm not an IT person or in other words I'm a computer idiot).. To start with, I need to think of the title for my blog which took ages me followed by the url thingy.. Seriously, I'm left with an empty brain (that's the reason for the funny name).... Well, at least I manage to reach this stage.. And I'm very proud of myself for this (no matter what you guys gonna say!)... Anyway, today is a hectic day and lots of stuff which I would like to share but somehow the mood had just left and I guess we shall wait for the next wave to come!
