This seems crazy but I'd been waiting for this Wii for almost a year already :) Got it last saturday and been playing with it for the whole weekend muakakaka.. Now my arm and body is aching due to lack of exercise..
Looi: Don't worry, I'll still DoTA with you guys during "normal" hours hehehehe...
Last week of holidays before the semester starts and I have to fall sick at this time.. sob sob.. Must be the environment in Low Yat and Sungai Wang that causes this sore throat and flu like thingy :( Went there last saturday to survey the Wii but we ended up buying in PJ hehehe..
Anyway, I'd planned for shopping this week.. hopefully it work out.. really need to buy more clothes liao hehehehe...

Go Green!!!!
I'm sure you would have notice some new stuff in my blog... hehehe.. yup some WWF banner :) I'd been trying to promote the "Go Green" concept nowadays but it seems that not many people are actually interested.. Firstly, I noticed this concept being applied by standard chartered bank with their e-saver account.. An online banking saving account.. Then I went shopping in Ikea and I'd been told that soon Ikea will no longer provide us more plastic bags therefore we are required to buy our own shopping bag... This practice can also be seen in Jusco and Tesco too.. And now with our petrol price increased about 40%.. I really think more can be done...
I'd been trying to cut down some unneccessary paper work in work place.. but I don't think it's enough.. Although I'm not an IT person but I do believe that there's a lot more that can be done through proper channel instead of the conventional way.. After watching the movie "Just Follow Law' (it's hillarious though).. I must admit that the movie really reflects the actual situation in most work place.. Filling up forms for request.. Printing or photocopying just to show proof or to protect one's a**... Imagine all the trees being chopped down just for those crappy stuff.. I'm kinda relief that nowadays, most of the meetings' minutes were actually distributed through e-mail.. atleast, after reading it, I got one less stack of unwanted papers to be shred..
Awareness is important! Most people tend to choose to be ignorant.. If you ever notice, Ikano is one of the shopping complexes in town which actually provide three different bins for recycling purposes.. And if you ever notice again... most of the rubbish does not follow the bins where it's suppose to be.. I just can't believe that there are so many illiterate people around.. Just hang out for awhile and you will be surprise with the stuff you can observe around you.. Senario 1 (from one of my observations), a child walk to the bins staring at the pictures on the bins while holding a paper cup, the adult (i presumed it's the mum), walk to the child and scolded the child, "What took you so long?' and the child answered, 'I don't know which one to throw.' And the adult,'Aiya, any one will do! Quick! Lets go now!'................. I was left totally speechless.....
The first time our government started the recycling awareness programme was in 1993... Then few years ago (year 2000), the Housing and Local Government Ministry launched the National Recycling Campaign.. a website was created.. www.kitarsemula.com (not updated since 2001).... but it just died off..No follow up.. No enforcement.. Nothing.. there goes all the budget for the whole 3R programme which i think cost millions..down the drain... If other country like Germany can actually implement it.. Why can't we do it? Well, we can always start from our very own home as I believe, we must start from somewhere and somehow... So why not here and now?

Songkran!!!!! and etc.....
Phew.... It's fast... 1 year ago, me, kong and chris went to phavz place for the songkran celebration and it was soooooooooo much fun... hehehe...
And last weekend, me and karl, esy and ms. ong, mok and phavz stretched ourselves all out for songkran again.. this time, more food were served.. muakakaka... thanks to phavz's mum and aunt and grandma for the great food being served throughout the whole trip.... thanks to phavz dad for the hospitality :) and of course thanks to phavz for sharing this special occasion with us... can't wait for the fruits season though.. hehehehe
Oh ya... last saturday, I did something quite drastic to myself.. I went to a hair saloon near metro prima kepong and guess what, I cut my hair short!! The last time i had short hair was during my form 6 if i'm not mistaken. Just for a change i guess. I don't know what prompted me to go for it as for those who'd known me, I usually won't do something like that. I hate changes. Somehow, for the past few weeks, I seems to want changes. Sometimes i do wonder, am i going through the next phase in life? I know it sounds weird... and i'm not sick or dying soon... I guess it will sort out by itself...
Before i end my blog, i would like to wish slerk good luck for his coming viva... he'd waited for so long... will treat him once his ordeal is over.. hehehehe.. remember who pushed you to finished you thesis?? muakakakakaka....
adios...

Gals' night out...
Yesterday night I had dinner with Phavz and Malar..... Karl was havin a function and thanks to Phavz!!!! Before dinner, me and Phavzwent for our spa session at Tru Spa... we did a body polish and hydrobath... At first it's kinda weird coz we chose the VIP room where both of us will have our treatment together... so imagine... muakakakaka... but someehow the shyness flew away and we just enjoy ourselves being pampered... hehehe.. after the refreshing spa, we went back to office to have a game and I think we played better than the guys!!!! muakakakaka...
Later we forced Malar to join us for dinner and i brought them to the Thai restaurant, My Elephant.. hehehe kinda addicted to the restaurant... We ordered a bowl of tom yum, chcken pad grapow, thai fish cakes and a stir fried mixed vege served with healthy brown rice and the refreshing pandan cooler... the food were too yummy ... we practically sapu everything... hehehehe... it's a nice place with comfortable and nice environment, cute waiters and delicious food... the price?... i think it's quite resasonable.. the total bill was RM50... I was too excited yesterday and guess what... i forgot to take photos of the food... hehehe.. maybe next time ya!

food, food and food........
Sorry Slerk and Chris... I know I'd let you guys down.. So I've decided to conclude all my monthly entries in here :)
First of all, I think I'll go straight to year 2008.. during cny, me and karl's family went to Hanoi (no pics as usual).. well, it was quite an experience as most of the time when we go for vacation we usually opt for places like Hong Kong, Singapore or some other developed countries and after those trips you will compare how efficient those countries are.. or how clean and civilized the citizen over there.. or how organized their goverment.. compared to ours(I totally agree though :) hehe).. but after going to Hanoi.. I'm actually felt so thankful and blessed that I'm from Malaysia :) I'm not saying Hanoi is bad but is just that they are not as develope as us.. you can see the people there are quite poor but of course there are rich people as well... but majority of them are so poor.. Other than that, the food there are quite simple.. Those we had here like vietnam kitchen.. I think it's considered as 5* luxury hotel standard food compared to the actual food there.. hehehe as usual food is my priority... scenary at Halong Bay was superb! But if you were to drive in Vietnam.. be prepare!!! The most important gadget is the honk.. everybody just honk at everybody and anything.. So you can actually imagine the livelihood of the city.. hehehe Anyone adventures should visit Hanoi.. it's worth it.. I learn to appreciate the things I have more.. kekekeke
My close friend WeeWee left to Sydney last month.. I was kinda sad coz she will be going there permanantly and I don't get to see her before she left.. :( She is one of my close friends since form 6 and thanks to her (for forcing me to do my homework and go for tuition classes) I'm now doing what I'm doing now.. sometimes, we tend to overlook many things and when they are not around, then you will starts to regret and keep questioning yourself "why didn't I....." when you know that it's too late.. As you grow older, the number of commitments tends to increase as well..Excuses like "I'm too busy", or "Maybe next time", or "I'm tired because of workload/OT" becomes a norm just to get away from invites... Anyway..don't wanna dwell on it anymore..
Come back to the happy stuff... :) Last week were good food week!! Hehehe.. In the last few days i'd been eating so much good food with my family and friends. Last thursday, we(liz, slerk and W) went to the curve and we ate at a german restaurant. We had a plate of delicious roast pork knuckles and a plate of sausages :) The place is abit pricy though and luckily we don't have to pay muakakakaka.. The next day, my ex-students treated me lunch for my birthday.. It's a very nice place in Section 17, Happy Mansion serving Thai food. And the name of the restaurant is kinda cute too.. it's called "My Elephant".. The food there were delicious and quite spicy and the presentation of the food is nice.. :)

For saturday dinner, we(with my family) had dinner at Shogun 1 utama. Mum always wanted to have buffet so since her birthday soon so decided to treat her :) They actually increased the price already(or i'm not up to date).. As i remembered, the last time i had Shogun, it was rm48++ per pax and now they are charging rm55++.. but the food quality is much better compared to the last time i had it.. Karl prefers Shogun than Jogoya as in Shogun more choices of sushi.. anyway, everyone enjoyed the dinner especially Nick!! He took 5 bowl of soba!! Sunday, me an karl went to ikea to get some stuff and we had lunch at dragon-i with Sbee, Hkuen and baby Nat.. Somehow, i still prefer to order their fried rice compared to their noodles.. but overall, it's quite okay but i think the one in mid-valley is better in terms of taste.. or the restaurant located below dragon-i in the curve also not bad.. hehehe.. Dinner on sunday, me and karl went to our favourite restaurant that serves crab.. they have the freshest crab in town at resonable price.. We ordered 2 crabs and a plate of singapore fried bee hoon.. and for those food lovers out there.. it's worth it to travel all the way there..(it's located in Sg. Buloh, Bukit Rahman Putra).. The flesh of the crab will just slides out easily and you can still taste the freshness of the crab.. :)
Monday, me, liz and mc went to food foundry, section 17 to have lunch.. the original plan was to bring them to "My Elephant" but it was closed, so we proceed to food foundry.. i had fish and chips while liz took a cabonara pasta and mc ordered their nasi lemak.. On tuesday.. the gang(liz, phavz, mc, slerk, mok and esy) gang up to give me and aeroplane a surprise lunch party.. and a surprise guest.. Kong joined too.. she came back from singapore.. the lunch was superb and the cake(thanks to liz) was so special.. Thanks alot guys! really enjoyed it very much(but i think aeroplane enjoyed it even much more!!! muakakaka).. wonder how much weight i'd gain just for these few days.. so i had decided that next week, i will try to skip dinner hehehehe(hopefully i have the dicipline to do it)..
Oh ya.. i have a new member in my family now.. so it will be karl, me and baby koko(10 weeks now).. We had her last sunday.. got it from ikano.. at the moment she is quite adorable at times but kinda noisy when being left alone.. hehehe so now we are kinda in a dilemma when it comes to sleeping time.. we left her in the hall but she cried the whole night.. any experts aroud to advise? Gary told me he put his in his bedroom but my koko can't sleep in air-cond room yet.. hmm.. guess we will have more sleepless nights to come.. hope my neighbours won't complain.. she's just a baby.. Anyway, if i can't even take care of her, then it will only be me and karl in future.. :)
adios! busy day ahead... happy reading..
p/s by the way, how come i can't find the upload photos icon? i wanted to upload some photos but couldn't find.. hehehe sorry...
