On the 14th I had a little Valentines Day Brunch with a couple friends. So fun!

I had fun with some new recipes... we had lemon yogurt bread, orange cranberry scones, chicken salad with croissants and fruit.

Candles for a project each girl would get to make to take home.

I asked each girl to bring their favorite scripture verse on love. They got to write it on some torn muslin fabric and tie beautifully around the candle.

Austin wins husband of the year award... he had a patient cancel that morning so he stayed home and watched all 8 kids (under the age of 4) by himself. He took them all out to the playground!

Don't worry I didn't send him emptied handed. He had PB&J sandwiches and sugar cookies for them to decorate.

It was so nice that us moms could enjoy some yummy food and mingle with out having to worry about all the kids! Thank you all who came!

Following the brunch Austin drove us out to Corona to drop off our kids with his sister. (Thanks Allie for babysitting!) We drove along the OC coast line and daydreamed of owning a beach house there some day. After we went to Disneyland hit up some big kid rides had dinner there and headed out to the movies afterwards! What a great day.

(Austin also got me some awesome boots for Valentines Day too! Thanks hun!)

Yes it is true we headed out to the beach on the 12th this month. It was a gorgeous beach day at 75 degrees! The kids had fun and it was great to see Bryce really loving the beach now!

Well Ava had her first trip to the dentist on February 10th! She did so good. We went to the UCLA pediatrics department and saw a resident dentist named Heraldo. She will tell you she, "Went to the dentist, he looka my teef, paint my teef too like my toes." He used a little brush to paint fluoride on her teeth and told her it would be just like when her mommy paints her toe nails, it was cute but I think people are a little confused though when she tries to explain that part. Ava was just glad she got to watch Sesame Street the whole time.

The best part was they took x-rays, we were worried that she was missing one of her laterals since there is no sign of its existence and both Austin and I are missing teeth. But we are happy to report that we saw that she has all her teeth, they're just not sure why it hasn't come down yet. Hooray!

Time sure flies! Bryce man is 8 months now and is still as sweet as ever! He is such a good sleeper. I just have to lay him down and hand him his special blankey and he's out. 2 naps a day and bedtime at 7pm up at 7am, that makes a happy mommy! This kid can eat! He loves anything you'll give him. Already all boy he is a bottomless pit. The other night he nursed, had 4 oz. of formula, 3 jars of baby food (equaling almost 300 calories) and then was still begging at my feet while we ate dinner!

It was such a great day on the 7th we had to spend the afternoon out on the playground! I decided to do my own little photo shoot with my big 8 month old! Such a cutie!

Hey kids, STOP GROWING UP!

Teething = cranky babies. Poor little Bryce is getting all 4 teeth in at the same time. Which leads to excessive drooling so his poor little cheeks and chin are so chapped too. (These pictures were taken on the 26th of January. All four teeth have now broken completely through)
