OK, so I haven't updated the blog since October. I've been so busy with Marilyn and work, that I just haven't had time. It's time to bring on the new year, and we are ready! 2008 brought so many blessings to our lives, the biggest of which , of course, came on May 1 in the form of Marilyn! She has changed our lives in so many ways, and we are having so much fun with her. We celebrated her first Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year, which were wonderful! She is growing up so fast! She is crawling all over the place and pulling herself up on all of the furniture. Before we know it, she will be walking. She has 3 teeth, and she loves to scream and say "mama" and "dada". Being a mother has been the hardest and most rewarding thing I have done in my life, and I am loving it! In August, I began teaching 4th grade at a new school, right in my neighborhood, which has made things much easier. And of course, November brought the amazing election of our new president, Barack Obama. I believe that 2009 will be even more amazing and I want to wish all of my friends and family a very Happy New Year!
